I personally really enjoyed this class. I found him to be nice and the class was enjoyable. He was busy campaigning for city councillor so he missed a couple classes for that, but the material was interesting. evaluation was based on midterm and group presentation. pretty easy to get a good mark. attendance is needed, but he often let out early.

He hasn't changed one bit. He is the biggest, most arrogant and conceited loser every. He never helps, clarifies or actually teaches anything useful. Spent hours listening to how wonderful he is and how we are unlikely ever to compare to his greatness. A**hole. Take any other course but this one.

Avoid at all costs. Arrogant and lacks manners. Quite ironic as he claims to be a mediator/arbitrator. Emailing him is a joke, and appealing your midterm mark equals a bashing oppurtinity to satisfy his enormous ego. If you had the misfortune of dealing with this thing complain to the Dean of Law if enough ppl go he'll hopefully get fired.

He is a self-obsessed jerk! Like others said, unless you want attitude and little to no help, don't bother emailing him or chatting after class. I second (and third) the tool comments. Yes, he does bring practical knowledge to class, but that is offset by him being a jerk. Don't bother e-mailing him, he'll snark you back with sentence long replies which clarify nothing. Unless you toss him, you'll end up with a B or B+. If you don't have to take this class, just avoid it.
