Loved this course! She made the philosophy behind religion quite interesting and I loved her teaching methods. Many of the classes turned into fun debates and the vast majority of assignments were all about presenting your argument with support from the textbook. Overall it was very interesting. She's a good teacher and very nice too.

Interesting class if religion doesn't bore you - discussions led heavily by the class themselves. Dr. Gorniak lets the class choose your grading system (amounts of tests/papers/open book or not/how much weight each holds). Gives tons of extra credit opportunities and ALOT of credit for participating in class. Very nice professor

shes alright. very nice, kinda obivious to what we are doing. just bring your laptop and sit in the back of class,she is BORRINGGGG. i gotta say tho, take as a summer class, she let us leave a week early because she ids going on vaca, therefore we take our misterm and final online!! she does ramble tho, very mind numbing.

She tries acting nice & helpful. But she's NOT, we just leave more confused after asking a question, most of time cant even tell what she's looking for in exams/papers. Difficult to follow, she's all over the place with lectures and answering questions.

Love this prof she goes above and beyond what she needs to to help her students. She expects you to do your work and will not hand everything to you on a silver platter I mean come on people it is philosophy you should be able to comprehend and apply what you have learned

Homework assignments don't help you understand the chapter and neither do the discussions. Everyday she asks to class to ask questions and if no one does she just rambles on about random things. The tests are hard to study for, random questions are annoying. Gives lots of extra credit. Show up, take notes, read chapters carefully you'll be fine.

i hated this class, too much reading ,w ay to crazy about attendance if you miss more than 2 classes FOR ANY REASon she will take off points and she is serious about it, final is about everything from whole semester on 13 chapters BORING CLASS ..she is a relativley nice person.

EXTREMELY tough paper-grader. Paper assignments very difficult to understand. 75% boring. Repeats herself. Does not know how to answer a question quickly and effectively. Supposed to be a women's studies class - made it a religion class. But, she has a nice smile.

Took this course during the summer. Was not that interesting but very nice. Pretty easy gives u as many extra credit assignments as you can do. Wasn't that hard to understand and she explained anything you had questions on. only thing is she takes points off for lil mistakes and u can end up w/ a .07 on one of the questions.

GOOD GOD!DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A ONE DAY A WEEK 2 1/2 hour course.Can't understand alot of what she says.The only thing that got me through this course was her constant misspelling of words and bad pronunciation to laugh at.I would rather go to a concentration camp.Didnt think I did that well in the course but ended up with an A.Lucky me.i hate dewey

Philosophy of Education. She yelled and had a fit cause the class didn't know the years of the Renaissance, isn't this a philosophy class not history? Horrible! Once you get past the accent you end up in Plato's Cave for the rest of the semester!

Will talk and talk and you will still have no clue what she is talking about or if it is relevant to the class. Philosophy is the worst subject and it sucks to have the worst teacher ever. Papers seem easy, but she probably won't like what your writing unless you use really big words that have no meaning to you.

A very boring class. She is willing to help, but it does not do much good-she is does not know how to present her information effectively. There are other PHI classes out there if you need the credits-DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE WITH HER. I was looking forward to learning other religions-not with her.
