Comment:

This was another online course for my summer term. Over all easy teacher. I missed the A by a few point because I slacked on the quizzes in the beginning. The final is proctored but everything else is online, and you can check your answer once before submitting.

Comment:

I took this course online, it was an easy class overall. There is a research paper that I highly suggest you prepare for, and also, her proctored exam is extremely hard because the study guide she provides is extremely vague. She does give critical feedback, and will extend a lot of the assignments for those who did not complete them on time.

Long story short, if you want an easy class she is one to take. I took her online and almost everything is on Quizlet if you look for it. Her midterm was proctored, but her final exam was not. She gives you one paper, and the topic isn't hard at all. She is an easy A as long as you do your work.

Comment:

This was not difficult and I would take a class by Dr. Dunn again for that reason. However, I did not care for her teaching style. She gave me marks off of discussion because she disagreed with my opinion and marks off the paper because I did the minimum citations. This is an easy A if you do all the assignments: 1 paper, 2 exams, several quizzes.

Comment:

Midterm & final are easy if you use the study guide and read the notes she provides. She wasn't overly involved with those in the online class. You do your work, get a grade, and that's it; not a lot of contact. Discussions could be kind of difficult but they gave you a better understanding of topics and she wasn't a tough grader with them.

Dr. Dunn tells you how it is. She doesn't stray for the controversial parts in History. Her tests are difficult but she gives a study guide. The course work includes weekly learning curve assignments, weekly quizzes, discussions, a proctored midterm, a research paper, and an at home final.

Very easy teacher to have she explains everything very clear in the syllabus and in the discussion assignments. The Launchpad website was very helpful in taking the quizzes for each assignment. Midterm fairly easy, final exam just a little harder. Easy to communicate with if you have questions and gets back to you right away.

I took this class online so it was a lot of homework at times. The reading is fun but be prepare to read. Midterm was proctored and at least she gives you a lit of things that may be there so you will use that list and create your own study guide. Final was not proctored. On the essay she will not explain your grade no feedback.

I highly recommend taking this class, it touches on many aspects of personal finance from buying a house, investing, creating a will, buying insurance, taxes etc. Great class and really great professor. You get your grades back quickly and she gives good feedback. I am really happy I took this class. 1 midterm (proctored) and an at home final.

Took this class online. There were 3 assignments plus a discussion each week. Most of it is actually entering ledger entries and if you don't learn the material, you won't be able to do the work. Overall, I learned a lot of stuff that I will actually use in real life. I will probably take her again down the road, possibly for personal finance.

Comment:

Don't expect accounting to be easy. It's not that difficult but you really need to pay attention. I spend on average 8 hours a week. You need the textbook and many assignments are actual work you need to put into recording data etc. into correct categories. No way to shortcut anything. You learn material and pay attention you are fine.

There is a lot of work but if you like online classes take Personal Finance with Dr. Dunn. you will learn a lot and it is fun. The quizzes can be hard and the formulas in the book are vague so watch out for that.

Great instructor, she cuts through the bull and gives you real information. tests are online and 10-12 questions long, 2 tries. Go to class, Do the hw in time, and you'll pass.

I took Dr. Dunn a while ago and I can honestly say that I still remember and talk about a lot that she taught me. I loved that she taught students about every facet of American history and didn't stray from the dark parts. If you really want to learn, I highly recommend taking history with Dr. Dunn!

Easy A as long as you do you the work. Is a 12 week course so some units are doubled up for a week. Very easy assignments and the book is an enjoyable read. Midterm and Final are easy, she gives a study guide of the exact topics you will need for the test. Her class notes are the best! Highly recommend and would take again!

Took her online class. It was ok. Lots of reading. The discussion boards were pretty simple. Didn't care for having to always respond to one other post. The quizzes were simple but the finals were a bit tougher. It may be better in class as opposed to online.

I took this online and be ready to work. However if you do the work you will get an A. Dr. Dunn comes off a little harsh at first but she is straight forward. Discussion post every week which are really interesting. Open book quizes, just make sure you read her notes. Two proctored exams but she gives you what you need to study. Def recommend

Took online version. tough quizzes that are timed. finals challenging too. teacher gives great study guides and offers many ways to learn via video lectures, etc. not an easy class but any means but not hard either. stay focused, and you will pass!
