Dr. May is such a good teacher! She is very helpful but most of all very interesting and understanding. At least for the class i had her for, you need to read the books. If you read the books it isnt hard at all.

Dr. May is very interesting and a wonderful and encouraging professor. You had to spend time on the readings and writing assignments. You have to participate in class. The essays are graded very critically. Be extremely careful about grammar! She is very approachable and I would love to take another class with her.

She was really easy to talk to if you had any problems with any of the readings. She expected class participation, but the readings were fairly easy to get through. Everything on the tests were things gone over in class.

I took her class a couple of years ago, but she is one professor that stands out in my mind who genuinely cared and was interesting to me. I enjoyed her class.

Dr. May's Victorian lit class was very good. She's gets a little frustrated when people don't participate--but she'll teach you a lot if you pay attention to her. She's also married to Dr. Palmer in the Philosophy department. Take him too!
