Comment:

Prom-bomb, as some of us called her, is a fun professor who can give a lot of lee-way in conversations and keep 3-4 hour lectures thought filled and interesting. Don't mistake her film classes for easy A's, there is a lot of writing and she grades them strictly. Teaches feminist studies and may get a little heavy-handed at time with the rhetoric.

Comment:

She was my advisor and she was totally not helpful. I would go to her to get my PIN and she would say "keep up the good work." I had to go to another faculty member for answers to my questions about classes to take to graduate. She never talked to me about my degree audit, career goals, or anything. She was nice enough, but never helpful to me.

Comment:

Dr. P is one of the most helpful, down-to-earth professors I have every had. She makes herself available outside of class and she helps the student get excited about their projects and writing. Totally supportive and knowledgeable. She doesn't force any pre-conceived beliefs or standards onto students and lets them blossom to realize their full potential. My absolute favorite professor at NCState!!

At first I thought she might be mean, but she has become my absolute favorite film teacher at NCState. She's helpful and extremely intelligent and fun!

Very awesome, very hip film teacher. I had a total crush on her--especially when she showed __This is Spinal Tap__ for our documentary. Her Intro to Horror Film was great too.
