Dont. Just take my word for it, dont. If youre thinking about it, dont. Likes to go off on tangents not related to material, doesnt understand technology, and literally has 6 grades assignments for the whole Semester

I have been looking at the comments that this professor has been getting her performance and classroom. I took her online class during the first part of the summer session. Leslie does a excellent job presenting the material in a condensed manner. As long as you are aware of the due dates you will succeed. Weaker readers do not take. I got an A

I took her online class. She assigned us a ten page research project and a power point simultaneously. On top of this each week we had to deeply research an essay question. She is a very hard grader. I was killing myself trying to keep up with her workload and I don't even major in history. 100% do not recommend. Nice lady, bad teaching methods.

Professor Johnson was meh. She put assignments/lectures on many Word Documents which quickly accumulated in my computer. She grades a bit harshly, & doesn't tell you what you did wrong. There are 4 tests & a final, weekly assignments, & a PowerPoint. Tests don't follow lectures. I didn't use the textbook. She gives all test answers in pre-tests.

Only 45 minutes for 50 question exams. Weekly assignments along with MANDATORY surveys. Final 10-12 page research paper w/PP, and final exam EACH 25% of final grade. Doesn't give back work with corrections and doesn't give score sheets to show how she arrived at that grade so you can make future improvements. Don't take if your taking a full load.

I personally never read the textbook throughout the course and got an A. She posts muiltiple choice on blackboard to memorize for tests which makes every test an easy A. Big paper at the end though.

Lectures and notes are pointless. The only way to pass this class is to spend days/weeks memorizing 50-68 multiple choice pretests on Blackboard. She posts 4-5 pretests that you have to memorize by heart and she only takes like 40 random questions for the test. Research paper at the end includes a book, and 4 articles. Also need to make PPT.

This woman is absolutely terrible. Her lectures are middle school level at best and all of the information she "teaches" is general knowledge to anyone that has taken a global history class. Her tests have almost nothing to do with the content she lectures about in class. She pronounces many words wrong so it's hard to understand what she says.

Lets just say, very disorganized, 2 modules, 200 pages of readings, 100 Q/per pretest, and 4 MLA essay questions a week. And NO, this wasn't a sprint course. My major doesn't even involve history in any way. Awful teacher, everything is in separate Microsoft documents so there's a lot of clicking around. I had to withdraw bc it hurt my GPA so bad

This class is ok. The only problem that I had is that I was surviving her class based of the pre-test. It was hard to connect her lectures to the tests. I was getting sort of frustrated. The test are easy ONLY if you take the pretest and memorize the questions and answers. Although I had an A in the class I did based on memorization. I

This was an easy online course. The assignments were easy. You do need to read, study, do quizzes, and very short essays. The only problem I encountered was emailing. I emailed her several times but she seemed to have only received one of my email, thankfully I didn't need to communicate often. The final papers were easy. Overall, I recommend.

She does give extra credit, but she talks and talks and talks, she goes on rants about different things, i wouldn't take this class again, i love history but this class makes me want to go to a museum and follow a guide around.

The tests are easy because she gives you all of the answers before in the pre tests. There is way too much material and no actual lectures only her own readings. I guess most of the info comes from the books but unless you love reading, don't expect to learn. I couldn't do it so I just took the pretests and studied the answers. Easy but long.

Prof. Johnson gave difficult online tests that were hard to pass. The readings were long but understandable, and the term paper was challenging. However, when I was on the brink of failing, she let me re-take all four tests to gain a grade high enough for credit. She went above and beyond to ensure that I passed. Highly recommended!

One of the sweetest teachers I have had. When I approached her after class or during office hours she loved talking to me and having in depth conversations about certain topics. She loves what she teaches. You do have to teach yourself some material for tests or pay close attention during lectures. If that's your learning style then youll do fine

Took WC1 with her. Very helpful. Her teaching style is power points and lectures, she's very smart and knows her material, whether you like that or not depends on your style of learning. If you approach her, she will take time to help you and is very helpful/caring. Pretests are online, so if you're a good self learner tests should be a breeze.
