This is the worst class that I have taken at Western Carolina. She assigns incredible amounts of busywork. She is not flexible in any capacity, it is always her way or the highway. You must already have prior knowledge of Excel and Access because she is a poor teacher that is stuck back in time. I wish I could give her a zero as her rating.

Prof. Lazar has been the toughest/ hardest professor Ive had at WCU. She will give you a 0 if you dont follow her clear instructions. Every assignment in this class is timed so use time wisely. If youre not familiar with Excel and Access please get familiar with it before taking this class. I passed the class but I would not take her again.

This teacher is already retired but she still gets a paycheck. Worst teacher ever, doesn't put forth any effort towards the students, the curriculum, or feedback. She is in cruise control and basically. Her coursework is from the stone age and she is technologically deficient yet teaches a technology class. Stay away

This teacher is horrible. She gives way too much homework that is not related to the material for the course. The test are way too hard. You have to memorize over 150 pages per tests and they are extremely difficult with written responses. Did not learn anything about computers in this class.

She goes off topic way too much & talks about herself a lot. We bairly got everything done and take for ever on one assignement. She returns assignments back really late and does not have any rubric for grading, so you don't know what you did wrong. As far as I know she just put grades on papers. She is pretty understanding for the most part.

She took points off for not answering an extra credit question, and she gave myself and thirteen others a zero (for now) on a lab, thanks to Lab Assistants and ONLY ONE COMPUTER. And that's just scraping the surface. I could go on, but the review only allows 350 characters and nothing more.

She assigns LOTS of work and doesn't take late work. Make sure you follow her directions or she really won't take your work. Lots of page summaries papers and presentations. Get on her good side! Her class requires lots of work; but at the end, you'll see that she grades your summaries easy. CIS195 gets in depth with technology and ethics.

If you want to learn anything about computers look for another professor. She doesnt teach you anything their is only class discussions about current events and "technology". You will have MANY presentations and assignments. all of which are pointless busywork. VERY STRICT and LOTS of rules.

She is a very srtict teacher, no late home work accepted and tends gives out quite a bit of home work. However she is a nice person if you get to know her. But since she is so srtict that you probably won't want to see her outside of class.

She was tough at first, but as long as you discuss what shes trying to say then youll be fine. This class is cake if you can halfway pay attention. A bit of kissing ass is essential.

She's okay if you get on her good side. All we do is read articles in our book and our novel. Guest speakers are bad - you have to write summaries. The tests were easy if you paid attention at all in class and did your work. Her class is discussion, so she knows if you don't do your outside work.

She has to be the worst teacher I have ever had at Western. The class is about computers and networking, did not even touch the computer with her in the class until 3 weeks before the semester ended. She is not fair in grading, and has actually fallen asleep during multiple presentations.
