Professor Vogel-Zuiderweg is both professional & passionate about teaching. She is very organized in her delivery, and maintains a high level of enthusiasm, which made a 2.5 hour class go by quickly. The projects assigned to validate & reinforce learning were both challenging & interesting. If you have a choice, I recommend taking her classes.

Attendance is a MUST! I had a background in Spanish so I suppose things came a little easier to me, but I believe she is a great teacher very willing to help and clear in her lessons. Lots of worksheets to practice with. I would highly recommend her:)

I enjoyed this conversation class, and the teacher was fun and organized, but I am not sure it was as useful as it could have been as we just talked to other students with varying levles of ability. it did get me talking more in Spanish, though.

I really like this teacher, the class wasn't too helpful for my spanish though. She is very energetic, nice and has a great personality. People say she's boring becauase she gives the same type of assinment for the whole semester, so there's not much variety. So by the end you may lose motivation to do the hw.

Nice, energetic, and patient!I had Professor Erickson for Spanish 1 and V.Z. was VERY easy compared to her. But the work got repetitive and a little boring. She never checks the hw and gives out a lot of colored handouts.

A very understanding and nice woman with great energy. Definitly born to teach. Do your homework, lab, attend class, and participate. Spanish is very difficult for me but she was able to teach me a lot in a short amount of time.

I absolutely love her. She presents Spanish in a totally interesting way, and if you take her you are lucky. Just be sure to work your butt off and study, go to lab and DO THE HOMEWORK. With lots of effort and study, you will get an A. Note, if you miss more than 3 days she will lower your grade. Good luck.

She is a good professor, but class can get quite boring. She uses a more interactive and slow paced approach to the language which helps students perform better on tests. A lot talking goin' on, so prepare to talk. Class begin early in the morning so get your coffee ready. Otherwise, good class

Good teacher. Very helpful. Has a lot of speaking exercises in class, can be good if the rest of the class is mature. Gives oral questions on tests that can be difficult. I would take her again.
