Comment:

Malcolm Wong is an awesome professor. He went way beyond what is expected, ie he gives opportunity to make up exams and homework. I believe he does this because he cares about you learning the information. He is a smart, humble and funny but not goofy. I wish he taught Chem 305. I highly recommend him

If you need more help you can see him anytime he is available and he will help. He basically reads the online textbook to you and will give some examples. He tells jokes that can be pretty funny. The tests and final are done on the computer. I was scared to take STATS because have heard terrible things but he made it easy.

stats 300/110 was amazing! Professor Wong is a Professor that cares about his students academic Success! He will stop class to answer students questions & review for clear understanding. He has an extreme Passion for his Profession. I have been so inspired by his teaching style that I will continue to build on what I learned.

he is very funny and approachable i passed with a B there are 9 chapter tests and a cumulative final he does not give a lot of homework he actually cares about you and is happy to answer any questions u have i do recommend taking a support class if you have never tooken statistics before

My 2nd time taking STAT 300. He was by far a better professor than my previous class. Using the WileyPlus had some issues but he was happy help. As long as you keep track of hwk & keep track of your grade along the way, you'll do fine! Test Qs are similar to hwk so take notes! He also read the final & midterm day before! Amazing & Beneficial

Absolutely a joy going to class. He is hilarious. I laugh when he laughs at his own jokes. Genuinely cares about students doing well. Has many of his own shortcuts that he wants to pass on-dont miss class. No homework graded; treats us like adults who can gauge for ourselves how much practice we need. Small amount of extra credit opportunity.

Mr. Wong did a great job preparing everyone for every test and for the next course. he didnt skip any chapters/units in the class and kept the mood light. he always answered questions happily and kept all of the notes saved so if you missed a class you could get them. just a great professor over all.

Mr. Wong is one of the most understanding professors at SCC however he can't teach. This is pretty much a self taught class. He has a total of 8 quizzes, 6 tests, midterm and final. He'll drop the lowest quiz and test score. Midterm and final is multiple choice. Was only able to pass with a B because of previous knowledge. Most students had C's.

I HAVE TAKEN MATH 123 THE MAX AMOUNT OF TIMES AND 124 THE MAX AMOUT OF TIMES AND FAILED 6 TIMES AS SOON AS I TOOK WONGS CLASS I ALMOST GOT AN A. Hes a fantastic math professor. His jokes are funny. You will end up liking the far side. And his real life stories of how people came up with math are very interesting. Keeps the class motivated. He also supplies your book because he understands the starving student is real! Hes genuine and cares and hes extremely organized. Ni regrets

One of the best Teachers Ive taken so far. Math is not the most interesting subjects but Mr. wong finds stories and so many creative ways to keep you engaged and interested , class would honelty fly by ! Such an awesome teacher, helpful , good at what he does as long as you go to class and do the work you will pass!!:)

Professor wong is one of the best math teachers I have taken. He cares that you learn and he teaches math well. He is funny and makes the class go by even though I am taking the late night math 120. I appreciate his multiple choice mid term and final and he doesn't give homework! It's great! Would recommend!

Prof. Wong is an amazing professor . I took his math 120 class over summer and he is by far my favorite professor . He cracks a few jokes here and there which kept the class entertained . I really enjoyed this class , I never been good at math and was able to end his class with an A ! I would definitely take him again !

I took professor Wong over the summer 2018 at first I was skeptical in taking a Math class over Summer. However Mr. Wong lectures were very clear and he provided many examples. He also stayed after class for extra help. He is very Clear of his expectations and easy going.

As a student who has attempted and failed MATH 120 on multiple occasions, I cannot recommend Professor Wong enough as an instructor. The course material is well-paced, and is directly out of the textbook. He's extremely patient and understanding, and if you are struggling with the content as a student, just reach out to him for help.
