Comment:

One of the best professors Ive had at Millersville. Truly cares about students, and is very understanding and willing to help if you are struggling. The selected lit is excellent and discussions are engaging. No need to know Spanish, but I would suggest taking this course only if you have a true interest in Spanish lit, not just for an easy A.

Comment:

Dr. Antolin is all around one of the best professors I've ever had. I took this with him twice, as I got a poor grade at first (personal issues; his grading is very fair). He's soft-spoken and some may find his accent heavy, but don't let that obscure how caring & personable he is, in & outside the classroom. Would gladly take again for any course!

He's a little socially awkward at first but warms up during the semester. Not a hard class, a good bit of homework out 60 questions a homework but you have about 4 weeks to do them and unlimited tries. 80% of your grade is based on the 4 tests, the other 20% on participation and attendance. Not very hard if you try a little.

Civ classes can be pretty tough, but Antolin taught it well. He's super helpful, if you ever need help with something.

Antolin is one of the best Spanish professors I've ever had. It seems like he genuinely cares about his students. And though he may be hard to understand sometimes he is always willing to repeat himself!

Antolin is a great professor. On occasion you might not understand something he says, or vice versa, but he's more than happy to repeat instructions. We used the book every day. The homework was very easy. My biggest challenge was a project or two, but the work he gives is not overwhelming.

Antolin really wants to help his students as much as he can. Personally I had 4 years of Spanish in High School, so the class was very easy, however if you study the material you will do fine. The test are mostly filling in words, phrases, etc and not multiple choice. The homework is online, however he makes the hw due on the day of the tests.

Marco is a really sweet professor. He cares so much about each individual student and this is evident in his communication with students, his promptness with grading tests and assignments, his quick response to e-mails, and the list goes on and on! I've had him for three classes and felt welcomed and in a safe learning environment.

Professor Antolin is an EXTREMELY nice professor! The book is used A LOT, so make sure you buy it. Every time new vocab is learned in class he calls on numerous people and asks questions. So if you don't like speaking out loud, this isn't going to be the class for you. But he's very understanding and the class is stress-free!!

Dr. Antolin has to be one of the nicest guys on campus. He treats students with respect and the class was very non-stress. You spend a lot of class time just speaking Spanish with your classmates and listening to news in Spanish. It is a terrific opportunity to become more fluent in oral Spanish in a non-stress atmosphere. Take it! You'll be glad!

He is GREAT! please take him if you need too. He is not good explaining things but he is a very caring and nice man. Class was fine to go and material was easy to understand. Not too much work. like 2 test and 2 papers, 1 in class the rest TAKE HOME exam! LOVE HIM.

Had to do way too much online work on top of all the work in the text, it got to be a little ridiculous. Often hard to understand but very nice. Quia sucks and takes up a lot of time. Tests aren't too bad, but sometimes he is not too good at explaining things

This professor is really interesting and nice. He picks good topics for his HUMN class, although he seems kind of scared to discuss the real issues behind them, perhaps because of his language. He's really nice and accepting, and tries to include everyone! Such a sweet man!
