Hilarious, warm, and if you talk to her during office hours she can be incredibly helpful. She truly loves her students as if they were her own kids. Very smart lady who knows the importance of a sense of humor. Doesn't tolerate BS and can tell if you work hard.

Dr. Letterman makes learning material thats boring actually interesting! She wants her students to do well and is super down to earth. She supplies the textbook via blackboard and lets you study for the final months in advanced because she wants you to do well and believes that you truly can. Would most definitely recommend her classes to anyone

Have to show up to class to do well but attendance/homework is not but it only helps you in the end. Quizzes are by hand an 60% of grade while final is on SPSS and 40%. The textbook is free from her and print them out before class to follow along. Funny and is always around for extra help and she appreciates you coming in and wanting to do well.

Hands down stats was one of the hardest classes I've taken so far in ECSU but I could not have done half as well if I didn't have her as my professor. She teaches it well and answers any questions. Make sure you ask for help the moment you don't understand something! she will help you. Great professor.

She emails you the textbook to print so you don't have to buy it. Its the most informative math class ive taken. It's nice to actually understand what's going on in the classroom. Letterman makes you practice the material multiple times too make you understand it which is so extremely helpful. I loved her personality and enjoy going to her class.

I am horrible at math but Dr. Letterman was such an amazing teacher that I did not struggle that much during the year. She is really funny and swears during class. She does lots of examples. You do not have to buy the textbook but you 100 percent have to print out the chapter links. you must go to class or you will be confused.

Letterman is a great teacher who is always there for her students inside the classroom and outside. She is very helpful and funny when teaching and always tries to give you the most she can in order to help your grade. She doesn't really believe in buying books, every class I've had with her she's found a free one online and uploaded it online.

She is absolutely hilarious, but if you don't like swearing, don't take her class. Haha! She is a tough grader, but if you need the help, she is accessible. There is a good amount of homework, but it's not terribly difficult, but there are quizzes once/week, so make sure you study.

I love Dr. Letterman. She's funny, helpful and good at what she does. Granted I did take Behavioral Science Statistics with her, which is the hardest class on the planet, she made it clear for what we needed to do to pass. She does go over things fast in class, but if you go to her office hours she makes it much more clear.

Dr. Letterman really did know the material and was very funny and made the lectures entertaining, however, she was often unclear in her instruction. A lot of the material was self-taught. Also, she is very helpful with questions, but you have to seek out help yourself. The material is very difficult. Otherwise, she was a great professor.

Comment:
She is down to earth, and the class discussions are usually entertaininginformative. However, the material has to be mostly self-taught, because she lectures without any thing to reference to (like Powerpoint or other guidelines)and goes through it really quickly, and most lectures end up straying off topic so hard to tell what you need to know.

Letterman isn't the easiest professor, but she is a wonderful person who has a wealth of knowledge to share. Her neuropsychology class is a real challenge, but if you're interested in the subject and up for it, it's 100% worth taking. The material is dense, but if you work hard, it's worth it.

She teaches most of the semester doing the math out on paper and giving quizzes. The final is a big chunk of your grade and is done in SPSS (math program). So by the end of the class you start to get confused what to put into the computer because she taught how to do it out when you're expected to do it on the computer for the final.

Letterman is the best prof ever! Her class is really interesting but hard. You take notes based on what she talks about and sometimes she is way off topic. There are 8 exams throughout the semester but no final. She gives you a study guide with the questions on the exam

Neuro was not an easy class! She made the topics interesting, and its easy to tell she loves what she is talking about BUT in class it made little to no senseĆ¢€¦she talked too fast to get notes and would jump around. The book is a must. but she is willing to do anything for a student, if you go see her she will 100% help you till you understand

I LOVED PROFESSOR LETTERMAN! She cursed like a sailor and was just so real with the class. She makes her instructions very clear and her tests are really easy. You don't have a big final. Its just a test on the last chapter. Easy peasy :) One group project which is super easy, no presentations for those with social anxiety! Highly recommend her! :)
