SAVE YOURSELF. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! You have to have a 95 to get an A. You only get 30 minutes to answer 90 questions for the test- which have many pointless questions and questions with multiple right answers. Even if you're right, doesn't matter, it's only what the professor wants. She's extremely rude too, definitely doesn't care about anyone

I do not recommend this class. This is one of the worst classes i have ever taken. The professor is rude and she doesn't go off a normal grading scale. The class is online and extremely difficult. I also don't like the way her exams are set up.

Comment:
If you read the book and are good at memorization you will do fine in this class. However if you skip reading the chapters and don't learn the word roots (write them all down as you read) you WILL fail. Extremely test heavy on the grades, focus on studying the practice tests as most of it is similar if not the same questions.

I took this course online over the summer. It was so easy to pass as long as you did your homework and most importantly: PRACTICE EXAMS!! The exams are nearly identical to the practice ones. Use quizlet! The professor herself is quite rude, recommending I drop the class because I asked for an extension on one thing when I was working 80 hours/week

Her med term class was insanely hard and you will be challenged greatly, even if you are a straight A student. Do not take this as a filler class because the tests are the majority of the grade and the averages are usually in the 60's. She will have a meeting w/ you, but will talk down to you and basically reread the syllabus. 10/10 try to avoid!

Do not take this class with Sebacher. Many of my friends take this class at other schools and transfer the credit. That is way less stressful and pass on a chance for a class to hurt your GPA. Sebacher is useless and if you are on the fence about terminology, like I was, my advise it do not risk it.

Places many trick questions on exams. Many questions that have more than one correct answer, but will not accept any but the one she was specifically looking for, even if you give proof from the textbook. Very frustrating.

This class is all on you. As long as you work hard, study, don't procrastinate, you will do fine. The professor does not really like to talk to you if you have a question. Try to email the TA's or find a group to help you if you are lost.

Without a doubt the worst professor I have ever had. Do not take Medical Terminology with her- I would not even consider it a "Medical Terminology" class, as her exams are maybe 40% actual terminology that students are told to study. She is also lazy with replying to emails (her only job) and she grades on a 100%-92% scale. Oh, and she's rude.

This class was only offered online this year and Ms. Sebacher was essentially useless. On my exam I proved my answers were correct in accordance with the textbook, but she insisted her answers were right based on her opinion even though in my textbook my answer was specifically shown & correct. to get an A- you have to get a 92%. final exam =TOUGH

The lessons had some very useful information, but Sebacher was very rude and cranky. She get very annoyed and rolled her eyes at me every time I asked her a question. I think she's to antisocial to be a teacher. The book was also too expensive.

This was a very helpful and not very difficult class if you kept up with all the work without much time lapsing in between units. Flash cards are VERY helpful. Ms. Sebacher was very helpful when asked and always all my questions well. Pay good attention to what the questions are asking on the tests.

I don't think I've ever retained this much information from a class. Very useful to anyone pursuing a medical career. Just beware that you must get a 95 for an A...grr.
