I was told that I needed to pick a new major because I was not going to be able to complete a aquatics test in the pool because of my severe asthma and my allergy to chlorine...worst teacher/role model ever.

Personality is on par with her teaching skills. Very condescending, thinks women arent strong enough to be lifeguards. Doesn't give feedback or return assignments. Failed students on CPR tests because SHE didn't know the up to date procedures (refused to apologize even when proven wrong). Took a class that could have been fun and made it HELL.

This lady sucks! She cant teach. If you email or call she will not repsond at all. She ignores you and the class is soo boring bc she talks worse than the visine man. BO RING. she never posts her notes or takes forever for grades. never giving you a paper back wehn you have to rewrite it or 2days before is real smooth. dont take her!!!!!!

She is a nice person and all but you have got to make this stuff interesting...just sitting in class and listening to her talk just makes me not want to be there. and lab oh how it sucks...labs are supposed to be fun and you are supposed to learn something...not here.

I think she overall was an ok teacher,she made it difficult when she changed the syllubus and would not notify the people in her class. We would get punished for not showing up in our swim suits because the syllubus said we were learning first aid that day.This seems very irresponable of her.

She was an AWESOME lifeguarding prof. She asked a LOT of us but it was worth it b/c it's really good to feel super prepared when you go to a lifeguarding job. She also tried to make class fun which, let's face it, isn't easy when you're swimming laps and diving for bricks every day.
