Comment:
The class was based around readings that were discussed the next day in class. I was genuinely interested in the subject of religion, but this class was pretty terrible. The discussions were poorly guided and incredibly boring. Tests and projects were easy. Just show up and skim the reading, theres nothing to worry about other than falling asleep.

I was in her Anthropology 111B, and the class was pretty easy. Basically just show up and pay attention, you'll have some case studies to read but it's nothing too bad and generally, you go over them in class. If you didn't get a lot of sleep the night before you'll probably fall asleep in the class easily.

This class is an easy A. She takes attendance but gives you extra credit for showing up, not penalizing you for missing. There is a 10 point 10 question quiz every other week. They are super easy and she goes over the answers. The quiz questions are used for the multiple choice exam so easy A. Take this class to boost your GPA for sure.

Her class is very easy as long as you read the material. However she does seem to jump all over the place when it comes to criteria. I would reccomend her for an easy A but not for those intrested in Anthropology

ANTH111B was a very easy class. Quizzes were often but able to use our completed homework during them. Attendance not required every class, but she randomly takes attendance every so often for points. Easy extra credit opportunities available.

The lectures were painfully boring and the curriculum was super unorganized. The topics were scattered and random. She also takes forever to put stuff in the grade book. I had no clue what I had in the class when I took the final because she was like six assignments behind on grading.

The quizzes were 5 questions and multiple choice. The quizzes or tests were always on Monday and everyone would show up. On Wednesday there would be less people and people would take notes but I would play Disco Zoo because you don't need to pay attention. On Friday almost no one would show up and there would be double attendance. Take this class.

Be prepare to write. She expects a 1-2 page fieldwork report every other week, with a quiz, usually essay style, every week in between. Theres only about 3 tests in the semester but they're essay style and she expects a lot.

It literally took her a month to get a 1 page article report graded, and in that month the class turned in two more. She told us to use feedback as tool to improve, but we cannot do that if we never get them back! If we turned in our work a month late we would have been told to save it for next semester.

Hard to understand exactly what she expected from the class..It was pointless to take, and they don't even offer Anth 301 (Linguistics & Culture) anymore. Prior to taking the class I was really excited about it, but my hopes dropped quickly with all the rambling and useless class attendance. Coming to class was very boring, and so I skipped a lot.

Terrible teacher overall, never returns graded work back on time or even in a timely manner, babbles on and on until you fall asleep.I'm not convinced that she understands the assignments she gives. I hated this class and would not reccomend this teacher to anyone, it baffels me how she's still allowed to teach here.

I have never hated a class so much. You dont even bother showing up because its not counted against you and she emails you the notes every day! I dont know why she's still teaching because she's horrible at it. Rambles 24/7. Takes her a month and a half to grade the 4 things we do all semester.

She verbally harassed and attacked the entire class for 30 minutes. She accused the students of being lazy, incompetent and stupid. She yelled at the students for not suggesting ways of improving the class and when things were suggested, she ignored them. How is she still teaching here?

I almost never feel the need to get on here and make a comment but in this case I am making an exception. Ms. Lutz is a terrible teacher. She never returns things on time, if she returns them at all. The assigned readings are never discussed in class. It is never clear what will be on exams. She babbles on forever about useless or unrelated topics.

Very flexible, easy class. She doesn't take attendance. Gives the option to write essay papers instead of take the tests. She's very nice. Lots of movies are watched. Very interesting subject! It was a so-so class just because it really wasn't anything too special. No assignments.

The thing I liked about this class was undoubtedly the fact that you got to choose between taking tests and writing papers. I wrote all papers. A fair warning: If you don't attend class all the time, you won't get an A.

She is a great lady who you can tell is passionate about the subject. People are sometimes disrespectful to her because she is soo timid and i think that is a shame. She tries hard to make a boring class and subject interesting and easy and I think she did a great job of it! Take it for an easy A!!
