A&P 1: Tough class regardless of who you are or who is teaching it. Prof Strong does a good of job explaining complicated things, has a sense of humor and encourages questions. Really less about him than you though. If you don't put the work in outside of class to reinforce what he's covering in lecture you're gonna bomb the exams. Common sense.

I loved prof. Strong! I took A&P with him over the summer in an accelerated course and actually enjoyed going! He made class fun and broke things down to a level that was easily absorbed (:

A lot of people say he doesn't tell you what's on a test, really he just doesn't give any review sheets. If you re-read the powerpoints, take okay notes, and ask questions (really, ASK) in class you'll be fine. Some people overstudy when they'd be better off studying with a group. He's pretty laid-back, kids show up 20 minutes late consistently.

I've taken A&P 1 and 2 with him and didn't pass either class. I had to retake them with different professors each time. He is very very boring and puts stuff on his tests that he doesn't go over in class. Ask him what to study, he's not specific. You also have to review his grading because he makes mistakes

If you apply yourself you will do well! He gives you all the tools to succeed and tells you what to expect on tests. If he goes over it in class or its on the power point, its fair game for a test. Took him for two classes and aced both. He is direct and opinionated and that what makes him unique! Very smart and loved his teaching style!

Not clear and doesn't care. Not at all helpful if your struggling. Puts stuff on tests he didn't go over. Ask him what's to study and his only answer is "everything." 75% fail rate. Getting a 90 with new professor on retake. Would not recommend.

Students tend to love him or hate him. If you are interested in the class you're taking and really willing to study, you will most likely have no problem with him. The tests were right from the PPs in lecture and there was very little homework, and it was always easy. Be sure to understand the concept of every lab. He's very opinionated. Good prof.

Great teacher. Not an easy class, but he is very clear and great at explaining things. He tells you exactly what to study and gives you all the short answer questions at the beginning of the semester. Tests are straight forward to test your knowledge, not to trick you. He skips a lot in the book but clarifies and explains extremely well.

Very difficult and unclear. He would nit pick your answers to find something wrong with every one. Rude/sarcastic attitude, It seemed like he got enjoyment out of it when students did bad or upset. Weighed his assignments so that it was very easy to do poorly or recover from one bad grade. He also doesn't teach lab, wants you to rely on your book.

My favorite professor this semester. I was hesitant about the class because I failed it miserably in high school, but he made it very easy to understand all of the material. He never gave us surprises. He was always very clear about what was going to be on the tests and quizzes, and he basically gives all tools needed to get an A. Notes and study!!

Great professor. If you do not study you will not pass. Lecture is where all the material for quizzes and tests comes from. Enjoyed attending class every single time. He gives very clear instructions.

Excellent teacher. Patient, knowledgable, doesn't pull surprises. Tells you exactly what you need to study. Accessible and willing to help if needed. Would definitely take other classes and am thrilled to be able to take both A&P's with him. It makes all the difference in the world to have a good teacher. I am thankful for that.

I think that professor strong is a very tough teacher but he is very good at what he does. He never has a problem going over something again in class if someone does not understand it. I liked him so much this semester that I am taking his A&P 1 in the spring!

Great at explaining the material. Anatomy & Physiology is always a challenging class, but Strong was clear about what to study and even provides all test essay questions ahead of time. Come to class and study and you'll appreciate his teaching too.

I think professor Strong did an excellent job considering his class was full of freshmen who had no respect for him. he was friendly and helpful if you were respectful and paid attention in class...Can't wait to take A+P with him.
