Professor Fletcher is seriously one of the nicest teachers at this school. He cares immensely about each one of his students, and it really shows in lessons. He is a brilliant voice teacher and I definitely recommend him.

Professor Fletcher is the nicest man you will ever meet! He is definitely willing to work with you to do things that you find interesting. He loves opera, and obviously loves singing, because he will sing along with you. Opera workshop & Master class are mandatory, but they are fun anyway and it is a great thing to take friends to as well.

likes to sing..a LOT. granted he's a good singer but if you're interested in learning technique, breathing styles, how to read music, this man is not for you. the only feedback i've gotten was "good. now sing this." everything else everyone has written is true.

A very personable guy, but very forgetful. Does not crack down on practice or memorization, which can be both good and bad. An easy way to fill a very troublesome GER, but probably not the most enagaging for actual music students.

A very personable guy, but he is incredibly forgetful. His pedagogy could use some work - he didn't give me any exercises to take home, for example. It's an easy A, class is always fun, but if you want really serious vocal study get someone else.

He doesn't remember who you are nor the music you sing. He really likes to sing and does sing well. But, he does not stop singing along with you. You don't really learn much from his class. It's more of a sing along with Mr. Fletcher than the edification of voice as an instrument. If you are looking for an easy A,then take it.

good music selection,but if anything displeases him about your rehearsal...he's a bit prone to small temper tantrums. definitely bit of a prima donna. he changed the staging for one of my pieces every week and got irritated when i didn't read his mind and move where he wanted me that particular week. DON'T be late, ALWAYS bring music with you.
