This professor seems to be raising just not sure where. She goes extremely fast on extremely hard subject and refuses to repeat herself when student do not understand something. I would avoid her if at all possible.

She's a good professor. The class is very exam-heavy, 80% of your final grade is composed of exam scores. So try your best on the first two so you can relax on the last exam. Very challenging material in the class, so its important to go to class and work through the homework problems. Project isn't too bad and its group. HW due almost every class.

I just passed FAR using CPAexcel. Prof Smith takes this vast body of knowledge and boils it down to what is important. Even in video you can tell she is passionate and cares about the candidates success. Those at the university are lucky to have her in class. Wish I did....

I just started Dr Smith's class. She provides notes to replace textbook - saves me $$$. She is a huge advocate for students. A breath of fresh air after some of my other profs.

Professor Smith is an awesome teacher. The class is tough, but it is not that bad if you stay on top of the homework and don't just BS your way through it. This course is also a great CPA prep, you WILL see these types of problems on the FAR section. I highly recommend taking this course.

Really hated the class. You write two papers about accounting topics, too many points assigned to nit picking grammar rather than actually talking about the accounting topic. Dinged points for things that were not stated in the grading rubric. Class meets 4 hours a week with 10 hours or more of homework a week (yet you get zero points for it) awful

Pam is one of the few professors that truly cares about the students and whether you LEARN the material. She goes fast - but her explanations are excellent. Bring a tape recorder so you can replay the lecture - it helps!

Really need to show up to this class. Don't bother buying the text book- just buy the note packet. It's all she uses and has all the homework in it. She really works with you though and makes sure you have all the resources you need to do well.

Terrible! goes way to fast to fallow. Gives a lot of busy work that doesn't help you learn material. You learn most from the book. It's a difficult topic but she does not help that much. Seems more interested in grammar in papers than in accounting content. She's the only one that teaches it and it's required so good luck.

She knows her stuff and expects you to as well. She talks too fast in lecture and there are very few chances to improve your grade if you perform poorly on any assignment. She is a good teacher, but she is tough, too.
