Dr. Lawson is amazing! If you show up to class its an easy A. There are fill in the blank notes and no homework or quizzes. She does have cupcake stories- (stories from her experiences that relate to the lectures) that she will ask about on the exams. Her exams are directly from the notes. Go to class and study your notes and you will pass.

Dr. Lawson is great! She keeps you involved in her lectures by telling "cupcake stories" and then she ask questions about the stories on her test. Literally 1/3 of her test is on cupcake stories. Definitely one of my favorite professors at FMU.

Dr. Lawson is a very awkward, blunt,& funny professor. I loved being in her presence. She explains at the beginning of class how her exams work far as "cupcake stories" (stories she tells you in class that she'll ask questions about)& she has power points you can get offline & fill out. I had some trouble times during this course & didn't do great.

Dr. Lawson has to be my favorite professor at Francis Marion. She is very clear what she expects from the class, which isn't too much at all, as well as gives extra credit. I had her for my first class of the day, and her excitement towards her subject still captured my full attention. Attendance wasn't mandatory either.

Very good professor! You don't have to show up for class, but reveals stories she'll use on the tests, so come for those. Also gives extra credit in class. Really nice lady.

Awesome professor! If psychology isn't your major and you don't know if you will like the class after taking her you might reconsider. She works with her students and gives really good feedback. She does a lot of extra credit to help boost your grade. If you find yourself struggling just go talk to her.

TAKE DR. LAWSON! She is AMAZING! This woman loves what she does wholeheartedly and it shows. She teaches the material in a clear, interesting way, and there is never a dull moment in her lectures. Her tests questions come straight from the lecture and it's possible to make an A without purchasing the book. I absolutely adore Dr. Lawson! TAKE HER!!!

One of the best professors I have ever taken at FMU. Very energetic and knows what she's talking about. Her "cupcake" stories are really funny and they are easy to remember for extra points on the test. Overall she is a GREAT professor and I would suggest her to anyone taking psych 206!!
