I took Dr. Bassett for DB and IA. His style is different than most professors. You must learn everything on your own, and he will then teach it after you've studied it. Once you know what he's looking for it will be a lot of work, but you'll learn everything REALLY well, so it'll be less difficult. From what I know, he's the only good choice 4 DB

Prof. Bassett is a great teacher! You will not regret taking his class. All tests are online, but don't let that fool you they aren't easy. He is very knowledgeable and is definitely experienced for the job. Take him for Database, you have no choice but to take him for information Assurance.

What can I say about Dr. Bassett? Well, I can only say good things about him. He's such a great individual as well as teacher. He knows his stuff and he cares. He really goes out of his way. The MIS Program is great and Bassett is one of the key assets to making it bigger and better.

I just wanted to say that I have had two classes with him and at the end of each class I realized that I had become friends with each and every student in the class. Somehow you have the knack of bringing the students together; a skill not found in other professors.

A very different approach to Information Secutity from the first course that I took. Very in touch with the needs of business and security. Don't look for an easy A in this coruse, it is obtainable but you really have to work for it.
