In general, he's a little political (wished he left it out completely, but he's not "out of bounds" with it). Book is cheap, Videos in class, and Tests go off BOTH (they're easy). For the final, he asks you to travel and study a new place, and it was the highlight of my year surprisingly! Choose a place that you ACTUALLY want to go, and you'll see.

Hated this class. Class layout was like this. you read the book by yourself at home and then you take a quiz every Monday. He doesn't teach the material. There is no power point lecture or really even a lecture. He just talks about things related to what we read but he doesn't teach it. YOU HAVE TO TEACH YOURSELF. Boring class and fell asleep a lot

Far more political opinions interjected into this class than should be. weekly quiz, easy grading really . However I came here to have a class and learn about geography not my instructors political views. Surprised thats not on his tests...

Weekly quizzes. Easy to pass if you just skim through the book. Watch a lot of cheesy but funny videos. One field project, fairly easy. One midterm and a final. Make sure you study for these. Class can be a little boring but he can be funny sometimes. No PowerPoint lectures, he just talks so make sure to go to class and pay attention.

professor means well, content can be interesting but the class is boring, dry, hard to get motivated. professor is a nice guy but his lectures are boring and shows lots of videos. the text is joke. very typical college class: read, lecture, weekly multiple-choice quiz, repeat. very boring, nothing special.

take this guy anything you can! hes a great professor and you even watch alot of cheesy but fun films. skim your book, go to class and you will get A! he even gives extra credit thats real easy, for those quizzes you didnt quite pass!
