The most outstanding lecturer I've ever had. 20 years later and I still reflect on his preparation and presentation. I knew then that I was in an unusual setting; time has only increased my appreciation for his effort, discipline, and professionalism. Respect.

Dr. L is the sweetest man on the planet. He goes out of his way to help everyone and he is such a fair grader. You only need the text book for one assignment. Readings are interesting and the socratic circles are so interesting and you learn so much. Best professor ever.

He's a good professor. Interesting class material and lectures. Most amount of reading I've ever needed to do for a history class so far (I wanna say you had to buy 9 books for the class). Pop quizzes are like give an opinion and you get the credit. Weekly paper assignments are easy. 3 big papers that aren't too tough for a history class.

I freaking loved this class and Dr. Liulevicius is an amazing professor. Your grade in this class requires participation on Rescript days and the TA. Hope that you don't have a bad TA. But honestly I love his lectures so much I am not really concerned about my grades. His lectures are just that awesome.

5 Re-scripts / 6 pop quizzes, you read you score well, 5 books but interesting, midterm , a final and a final paper. Enjoyed the class, loved him and the TA. Came out with a B+.

Vejas LieuLevicius is an amazing teacher. As long as you are interested in learning he will go out of his way to help you. By far one of the best and most interesting lecturers i have ever encountered.

The best lecturer I've had in college/university. Extreme passionate about material and knowledgeable. I also felt like applauding after lectures. This was a special topics class - History of Espionage. A really great class that I highly recommend. If you like or even if you hate History, take it from this professor. UT should take pride in him.

Attendance wasnt mandatory for us but he did give 5 pop quizzes to reward those who were there. Totally essay-based class with 5 one page papers, two take home exam papers and a term paper. He lets the TA do all the grading so fear the TA, not him. He's rather fun to listen to in lecture once you get used to him and is glad to take questions.

Appears pompous and dorky at first, but he's okay. Lectures are good, but he talks fast. You really shouldn't skip class. Write down as much as you can in lecture. Two big ID/essay tests, one paper, and a few attendance quizzes. Not an easy class, but he's an okay professor.

One of the better professors in the History Department. There are a lot of little assignments, but nothing is to big. The mid-term and final will require a couple hours of studying and there's a five page paper, but overall it is not that difficult. There are five pop quizzes that account for 10% of your grade. Otherwise, no attendance policy.

Pretty hard class.Lectures are engaging [you can tell he loves history] which makes the subject more interesting.Not a lot of textbook use but you must buy the additional reading books b/c you have to write papers on them [some will be difficult, like the term paper].Try not to miss b/c you will be lost.Some attendence quizzes.Can't miss discussion
