I absolutely hated Statistics - but Rod was amazing. He's probably the funniest professor I've ever had. The information is gone over pretty quickly so if you miss a class it takes awhile to get caught up again. He does an amazing job of explaining everything and his teaching method is great. He's always around in his office or math lab!

Rod is an amazing teacher! I never thought I would be able to pass a statistics class let alone with an A. Rod explains things in a way that you can understand and not be confused. He is strait to the point and fair. Hands down I feel I could not have had a better statistic instructor than Rod. His class is also lively with his funny sense of humor

Super funny and nice guy. Always answers questions and wants you to understand. I didn't buy the $300 book and did just fine. Tests are hardish but if you take notes and pay attention, you will do just fine. Did I mention he is really funny???

He's great! I'm not very good at math, but he made Statistics survivable, and even enjoyable. His example problems that he gives in class are very helpful, so definitely take notes if you want to do well. Always gives time for us to ask questions.

Great professor. Very laid back and approachable. if you didn't understand something he is more than willing to take the time to explain it. classes and notes are key to understanding material and getting a good grade (like any class really).

He is very helpful and funny. He makes his class interesting by using relevant statistic examples. The homework takes awhile, but the test questions are nearly identical to the problems he does in class. If you go to class, take notes, and do the homework you will defiantly get a B or better.

Rod is really funny & always made the class fun! He is a great math teacher & explains things very well. Because he was such a great teacher and made class enjoyable I did very well. If you are bad at math and have to take Statistics I highly suggest you take Rod's class because he is so awesome it'll actually make you want to come to class!

I LOVED THIS CLASS!! as long as you attend the class you will learn the material he always provides several examples and has the homework online, gives you till midnight to finish it which is great because you can ask him abt the assignment and still have time to do it!

ONLINE CLASS - AWESOME, I'm terrible at math but this was a great class! The textbook is entirely online & integrated with the assignments directly. He puts ALL assignments and tests up at the beginning of class with due dates so you can work ahead - DO THIS as the problems are time consuming. He responds quickly and is most helpful and kind.

Online class. Very helpful, responded very quickly to all emails. Physical textbook not needed as book is 100% online. All assignments are presented on day 1 allowing you to work at your own pace. PS: This guy is a GIANT! Easily 6'6 - 6'9
