He is pretty monotone when it comes to his lectures, but you have to go to class because the extra credit quizzes are crucial. (I usually got 6 points) In his tests, it seems like he sets out to trick you. Very confusing. But if you do the online and 2 in-class quizzes, you can pick up some test questions. I did not enjoy his class at all.

The worst class I've taken in college. He is boring, not understandable, pompous, and rude to students. Doesn't talk about the textbook in class, but if you want to get a decent grade, you have to read it all and know it thoroughly. What he talks about doesn't correspond to the tests. Don't have to go, but should for extra credit quizzes.

Actually I liked the class, but it's like anything else ... if you don't study you're going to end up at the bottom. And he's one great teacher!

I don't think he knows that this is a 100-level course. He is verry rude and unpleasant to all of his students. The class would be 30 minutes shorter if he didn't say "uh" so much. It is nearly impossible to stay awake during his lectures. Don't take this class unless you want your GPA to go down.

This class is an absolute nightmare. I've taken to studying on my own. He talks too fast to decipher and doesn't seem to like questions very much. I'm happy I'm not the only one having problems with the teacher - but I'm pretty upset I'm paying for this class.

This class was very difficult. It was hard to decipher what he wanted us to learn from the notes he gave and his tests. Nothing ever seemed to mesh between the two and it was hard to study. I struggled through the whole semester and ended up with a D, which seems to be about average after talking with several other students who attended the same class.

The class was horrible. I was pretty interested until I got to the first class. The lectures are boring and he is very unclear how to study or what to study. The review pages online didn't help at all. The majority of the class was a C or below. This obviously means the problem does not lie in the students.

This guy is an absolute jerk. He seemed proud of the fact that the class average was a "D" and boasted that he had not given a curve in 16 years of teaching. He treats you like an idiot if you ask a question. You will be lucky to recognize one test question from his lectures. He's a jerk

This is the hardest 100-level course I could ever imagine. It's a joke to call it "Elementary" Astronomy when I'm sure anyone who got an "A" in this class could major in Astronomy. I worked my butt off for my "C". 4 of 150
