He did not grade 3 of 4 the tests until 1 week left. Meanwhile, I thought... doing great, not the case and no way to change it at this point. He procrastinates grading tests & posts nothing online, he is bad at communicating with you. He puts you in a no win situation.

You can expect homework every day except for test days, but his lectures are very informative and the class is pretty easy as long as you attend lectures and pay attention. He is easy to track down if you need help and more than willing to make time for you if you need it. He makes me want to take another math class even though it's not required.

Took Math 111 and 112 from Hutcherson. Ended up dropping 112 but he is an awesome teacher. Be ready for A TON of homework. But any questions or concerns and he is there for you. Would recommend

Great math teacher. I enjoyed his style so much that I will be taking MTH60 with him. He was great to contact students and check in regularly throughout the term. Responds quickly and is considerate ti life outside of school.

Hutcherson is an awesome professor and an awesome guy! He is very clear and very willing to help. Even when some students had questions every 2 minutes, he handled it very well. Very calm and great for people intimidated by math. Only boring if you already know the material, and even then he's so thorough that you'll learn more anyway!

Sean Hutcherson! He was a great teacher! He gives super clear lectures,and he has really neat handwriting, which is nice with a math teacher. I also really appreciate how open to questions he was. He is a really friendly teacher!

Simply put Math stresses me out and in turn I dont like it. This teacher is wonderful. He has a very calming manner which put me at ease rather than making my anxiety go up. He explains things very clear, the homwork is not so much its overwhelming but just enough that you can solidify concepts. Very approachable. I highly recommend for math anxiou

SWOCC is very lucky to have Mr. Hutcherson. He has an interactive teaching style,always takes questions in class, and always makes himself available for questions outside of class. There aren't many teachers as dedicated to the constant perfection of his craft as he is. Also, he models exams after assigned homework so if you do it, you'll ace exams

I'm not a math person at all and lucked out by choosing his class my first year at SWOCC. He's very nice, extremely helpful, and very committed to his students. I never had a problem scheduling meetings with him if I was confused about anything and he was always willing to talk to me. His teaching style is easy to understand.

Great teacher! He explains things precisely and very clearly. Assignments aren't corrected... just checked off if you finished it. Tests are easy if you know the stuff. Extremely nice man. Not the most exciting class, but I guess that's typical for math.
