I took the online, accelerated version of his cinema course and really enjoyed it! The course was clear and well organized. Well thought out, but still easy. No exams, just a final film analysis. He was passionate and took the time to respond to EVERY discussion board post/essay with useful feedback.

I took this class at San Diego Mesa College online. Sheldon is a really nice cool guy. His class really helps teach us the elements of film and he always is ready to help if you need it. If you love movies, this is one of the best classes to take. There is one research group project, one film analysis, mc quizzes and discussion prompts. Easy A!

This guy is seriously into acting. Ive taken other courses before but he takes it to another level. He can answer anything! Loves exploring ideas & feelings, he's encouraging and steers you into the right direction. Pop quizzes on chapters 1/week, extra credit, accomodating if there's a problem. He likes fun, just take it seriously and be on time.

This Prof came once to class but when he was there he was cool. The TA was hecka cool tho, Drama isnt my major but this was a good class if you don't want to take pe. Just let go in this class and you'll be cool. Vocab is important so just know it in the beginning. Super fun!

He rambles on forever in lecture, but the class is fun despite him. Group projects take a lot of time outside of class, but they are fun to do and watch. You have to see some plays that will cost you time and money, but the class is an easy A. Show up to class, don't be late, there is extra credit!

this class got me interested in theatre, I had a lot of fun in this class! Acting projects are fun, but you don't have to act if you don't want to, you could do lights, etc. TAs were a bit hard on grading papers, but he gives 15% EC (10%, for full attendance) so it's all good. The main thing was having fun while learning a bit about theatre history

Easy/fun class if you are into acting. Make the best out of this class and get an EASY A. You will end up spending $$ to watch shows at Mondavi/Sac Theatre. Will take time out of your busy schedule to meet up with everyone in your group (rehearsals)! DON'T BE LATE or FALL ASLEEP! LECTURES will bore you--not doubt. Professor did not help with much.

Deckelbaum is an adorable man. His class was pretty boring and I dreaded going every morning, but Deckelbaum is an adorable man. My TA (Schiesari) was highly entertaining but other than that, I didn't learn anything in the class other than that Deckelbaum is an adorable man.

the prof is never there. my TA was lisa (sec 6) and she was AWESOME. she is super nice and helpful and understanding. she lets you turn in hw late and will meet with you privately to work on a scene. i'm not a drama major but i had so much fun in this class. there's lots of improv and hands-on scene work. it was a great way to wake up.

had to drop this class. I like drama, was looking for a laid back class. He is very strick for a drama teacher. Lectures are too long. I could still get an A very easy, but it is very time consuming. He is pretty lame, I think Davis should be able to better. Drama 20 is just and acting class thats lame, not the study of. TA is usless and harmless.

Easy material. Funny. Gets mad if you fall asleep in class. Very approachable and explains the material quite well. Overall, pretty enjoyable. Drama class is an easy A if you do all the essays and and extra credit problem. The extra credit cancels out any quizes that you might have failed.

A great class. Professor is a bit odd, but entertaining. He grades hard, but TAs do most of the evaluation for the course so its all cool. 3 projects, 1 acting, 1 research, and one final. No actual midterms or final, just 10 quizzes. An easy A if u do the work, and put some time into it. Loved it.

The course description talks about design, directing and technical aspects...dont expect that. it was an acting class essentially, with horribly boring lectures, and assignments that never tied into the class aside from a quiz. an over all unrewarding class to take, with a teacher that didnt help.

I had fun in his class... probably the most fun I've had in a class at UCD. The quizes are tricky, but he gives up to 10% extra credit, so it doesn't really matter. The projects he had us do were really fun, and I'd recommend the class if you want to have a break from serious studying.
