Comment:

The only teacher for IS3260 but it isn't a hard class. I took online so I was able to do the assignments as they opened up. I had previous experience with HTML so it was an easy class for me. There is a semester project start it sooner than later it is a lot of work but not hard to complete.

Comment:

No. Just no. I've taken her twice now and she just isn't a professor that seems invested in the success or wellbeing of her students. She doesn't do a lot of teaching herself (at least in her online classes), instead relying on textbook reading to teach us instead. The group project is a mess and she seems annoyed when you ask for assignment help.

Comment:

Before taking this class, I was weary of Shade. However, she is really caring and willing to help. Just do your work and pay attention. The content is fairly easy, and she gives you all the code needed to do all homework and exams. I am excited about taking her for capstone! Read the book bc it helps alot on exams and quizzes!

If u miss the class, even if you don't pay attention in the class, it could be the hardiest class ever. but overall, she is not the worst. However, she could give students better lecture. her lecture is mostly going over the coding. She could give us more organized grade, and faster feed back. I want to kno how I did on my hw to study for the test

Comment:

Horrible. Maybe it's just because I'm taking this class as an online summer course but it's been awful. We don't have nearly enough time to finish all the assignments. It's the last week and she has just now started to put in our grades so we don't have any idea where we are at in the class. Don't recommend at least for a summer course.

Prof. Shade is awesome. She is direct and only goes over what is needed. Capstone is a lot of work, as it should be. But, she is there whenever you need her for help or feedback. I couldn't imagine any other professor teaching this course, she is very dedicated to helping students. I learned more from her than any other professor.

This prof has been one of the worst, we could literally build a discord bot that does more than her, I am creating an incident report and presenting it to the IS chair. Anyone willing to come forth as testimony this professor shouldn't be "teaching" This concept is very easy and she is making it sound like the most complicated thing ever.

Absolutely awful, she has made a very very very easy subject hard to understand, she might as well make half her class TAs bc she doesn't do anything and reuses the same material over and over again so much she mixes her class assignments.

Sherri shade is the worst professor Ive ever taken. Gives directions that are impossible to follow. Posts announcements that contradict each other. Doesnt clarify anything when you email her, just repeats what you emailed her about. Gives long projects that build on each other. 10/10 wouldnt recommend. All I got out of this class was a headache

Unless you like a professor who gives ambiguous instructions and can't explain them, don't take sherri shade. Gives multiple projects with horrible directions that are almost impossible to follow but the quizzes are easy. Email her for clarification and she will refer you back to the original instructions that you told her couldn't understand.

If you're a fan of showing up to class and following along everything she types this class is for you. She is disorganized, lazy and unmotivated to teach. God forbid you email her with any questions don't hold your breath on a response. Make sure you show up everyday miss a class its like you're behind the whole semester. Wish KSU had more teachers

Quizzes are easy enough but the projects and exams are borderline ridiculous. 30 minutes for midterm when there's 52 questions? Her response for the amount of time being it takes her that long to answer questions so we should be able to answer in that time frame as well. Do not recommend her to anyone. Also gives projects not related to the course.

Professor Shade really wants her students to do well in the course. Her instructions are vague but if you email her to clarify she will and that helped me. Lots of assignments and quizzes start early. Study for the final/midterm because there is no time to look up answers. Get with a group for the group project because it is a lot of work.

Took online for IS 2200 shes a great professor. I took her class over the summer and we had a lot of assignments, and quizzes and a big group project but they are all doable. I guess I did well because even when instructions are vague just email her and ask to clarify. The assignments are not hard just time consuming so don't wait to do them.

I took her online class. She gives a lot of work. Each week there were online quizzes and assignments. She gave detailed instructions for assignments. If you follow the instructions for the assignments, you will get a good grade. I would recommend taking this professor because she grades fairly and lets you know everything you need to do.

Not horrible, but be warned! Does not teach at all, expects you to know many things from classes you might not have taken yet. Expects you to have high level of proficiency in technology. Gets mad when you ask questions. Will hold a grudge. But at the end of the day, if you work hard, it will be fine.

Comment:

Professor Shade is there for a paycheck. There is no passion in her lectures, and do not expect much help from her in or out of class. There are a LOT of assignments (sometimes 3 or more in a week) and quizzes/projects often require book use. Class material is interesting enough. The overall experience was underwhelming but just barely acceptable.

She has got to be the worst professor in ANY university system in America. Honestly terrible... im not even saying this cuz she screwed me over, cuz I got an A in her class... but shes just a terrible terrible person. she makes fun of her students.. is extremely sarcastic.. and DOESNT EXPLAIN ANYTHING!!!!

Comment:

Better for web dev than app dev. She basically shows you and you copy it. You have assignments (easy) and quizzes (12 mins to do 10 probs/not on google, a group paper,group project and presentation, and midterm and final. The exams are difficult and come from random parts of the book. Pick a good group bc its a majority of your grade.
