If you're good at math take her. If you're like everyone else and only average stay away. She was very rude and unhelpful. Only grades 2 problems out of 100 so if you didn't do the problems she chose that is an automatic F. it wasn't worth wasting my money.

I only had her for a month into the semester until she had foot surgery or something, then she got replaced by a better professor. She goes very fast paced. She skips steps because she assumes we already know the basics. I did okay through her first test only because I learned it all in the homework. I'd recommend taking someone else.

By far the worst even. I am thankful for what ever higher power removed her from teaching this semester. I had her up to the first test, and I was shocked that she doesn't teach. That's right. One to four examples on one section were shown. WTF? U will be in trouble if you decide to enroll in her class. Read the other comments... I didn't tell u so

Hw is relevant to WHAT WILL BE ON THE TEST! There are ALWAYS extra credit opportunities and, her SI is amazing. If you have a 95 or higher in her class at the end of the semester she doesn't make you take the exam! Don’t be afraid!! I was after reading her reviews but after taking her class I realized that she is an exceptional teacher.

Wish i checked this before i took her class and failed. i got 73 on final test needed 79 to pass she didnt give me the 6 points -_-. gives hw daily, her way of problem solving is unclear. you wont enjoy it and will sruggle.

You need to be there literally every class or you will miss a lot of information. Hitchcock teaches the material well but she doesn't go in depth with the material unless you ask. I needed 20 hours of extra help to pass with a C. I can understand why more than half of the class dropped out.

Awful professor, very unhelpful and never actually teaches you the work she assigns. Instead of helping you out in class, she expects you to spend all your free time in the Math Lab so someone else can do her job for you. She posts your grades online and it seems like everyone except for 1-2 students are failing. Avoid at all costs.

She doesn't really teach and blames her students for not spending 5-7 hours a week for studying just math if they get a bad grade. Her class that goes to SI get's good grades, and for only that reason. Tutoring is mandatory for this class. Do not take her if you don't have a lot of free time to study and go to tutoring.

although i got an A in her class, it required a lot of work at home. I highly recommend the mymathlab program that comes with the book. Her teaching style is not for everyone. She gives a study guide. You have to do all the homework but she only picks two problems to be turned in for credit. she drops lowest test. very hard professor but u can pass

She was a terrible teacher, my class only had extra credit assignment. She's not clear, and half the class was left in the dark. Make sure you dont miss a test cause she wont let you retake it, and then you have to take the final. I hated every minute of this class, I will NEVER take her again.

Pros: lots of extra credit and a great S.I instructor. Cons: not clear, does not give test reviews ( S.I does), seems like she doesn't want to teach anymore, not a fan of in class questions, loves to use her red pen on quizzes, and she goes outside the box too much and does not go over test or give them back. AVG grade in my class was a D. I passed

I took her for precalc and ohmygod. she is awful. the only reason i passed was cuz halfway thru the class i realized the only way to pass her tests was to take the book and spend hours upon hours looking at examples trying to teach myself cuz she wont. she only grdes 2 random HW questions out of like 100 so if ur not lucky you will get F's for hw

HAD US BUY MY MATH LAB SHE FOUND OUT HALF WAY THROUGH THE COURSE THAT IT WAS FREE, AND PAID FOR THE BOOK WHEN SHE FOUND OUT IT WAS AVAILABLE ON YOUR FREE MY MATH LAB TRIAL. THE WORSE !!!!!!!!!

Hardly anyone in the class understood her. Since I had prior understanding of the concepts, everyone around asked me for help, and I felt I helped the class more than she did. On my tests she would mark questions wrong that weren't and I would have to go to her to explain my process and correct her mistake. DO NOT TAKE if you aren't good at math.

Im currently taking her class.Shes okay as a teacher, dont really liker her style; she doesnt really explains things well; she jumps all around and takes shortcuts without telling you..but if you ask questions she will help.Not my favorite. just put time into her class and you will be fine.

Took this class online last semester. It was a waste of time and money. This is a self teaching class. The professor does not teach at all. She directs you to the discussion board where other student answer you. Not sure why PBCC employs her.
