This been a frustrating semester for me. I am in this course cuz I need help writing, but Terry is unable to help. She is too busy with the loud rude students who do not respect her or us. I talk to her, she said I will pass cuz she know I'm trying, but I feel like I learned nuthing. she tries shouting over people, and it doesn't work at all

Professor Shamblin is very dedicated to her students and wants you to succeed. She is helpful when you ask her for help. I would take another course with her. Just be prepared if you fall behind with homework you will not pass so make sure to show to class attendance does matter in this class.

Professor Shamblin is very dedicated and wants you to succeed. She is helpful when you ask her. She is interested in your success. She is a very happy woman which makes going to class enjoyable. Her exams are lengthy but not impossible. The homework is only overwhelming when you get behind but if you are prepared for class you are all set.

She is a very sweet lady! She was clear in what she wanted from us. There wasn't too many assignments and she gave us plenty of time to complete them. She really wanted her students to do well. I got an A in the course and that was with even missing a few days. I enjoyed taking this course, it gave me a much better understanding of writing

I'd never say she's a bad professor, but I don't think she was right for me. I think she's a great person and she told me after the semester ended that she gave me a C even though I didn't quite earn it. Thank you, Terry!

Terry Shamblin was a great professor. She made class interesting. If you're shy and don't like reading outloud take it with her. She is also helpful if you need help on the essays and goes slow for you.

Her grading is inconsistent and shows favoritism torwards kids that have no ideas, interests, anything. For the five essays, just write about the same topic and you will receive a good grade. If you're slow, I would recommend this professor.

I think that she is a great English teacher and I love how much fun she tries to make the class. I hope that I have her again for any other english class that i take at MCC
