I wish I could take all my classes with him. He's funny, he knows his stuff. You have to work hard and pay attention, but you'll come out of the class with some real knowledge. You can tell he really cares. I wasn't too into Microbiology but he kept it interesting.

I thoroughly enjoy his class. He is a hard professor but I feel it helps you learn more. He does not give study guides but goes by power points.

Great sense of humor. Enjoyed his class and esp. the Lab. Very helpful, but you need to study. He uses mainly the powerpoints for his tests. The textbook is helpful, but he does not rely on it. You will use the lab book though.

I beg to differ on the comment that he teaches a class as though it is a graduate level class. He teaches at a university level, even though he's at a 2 year college. Excellent teacher, reinforces the key points, and has a wicked sense of humor.
