he calls you out if you write something on your essay he doesn't like or understand. it's only for your benefit don't take it personally. ive gone to his office hours a lot and he is more than helpful. as long as you dont make the same mistakes in previous essay he will bump your grade. follow his guideline for each essay.

This is a "Bonehead" english class, if you screwed around in HS like I did you do make up. But Hey this is college right! It?s put out or get out. Lang isn't all smiles if you r rappin to ur posse (like 2 many were doing), so can you blame him if he gets all tight jaws - he's just doin' his job with a "bonehead" crowd. Learn up! He takes attendance everyday. Participation is part of your grade. This class is super easy, but he does not make it fun for you. Lectures are boring and useless. Classwork is fun. a total of 5 essays he will help you if you see him in office hours. he can get off topic real easy. he has his mood swings a lot

this teacher has got to be the worst i've ever had. A lot of people in my class got insulted, and for no apparent reason! Homework and attendence are very important. He doesn't take into consideration the time you put into essays and even though he will let you extend essays he has no mercy if you make one little mistake. DONT take his class.

For a teacher who likes to assign sensitive topics for essays, he's a real sensitive guy himself. Be careful on what you write your essays on because he can get all touchy and defensive. But he is funny, and you will learn a lot in his class. I wouldn't recommend him, but if you're stuck with him it's not a big deal. I give him a B-

He's an okay teacher. Class is easy as long as you do all the homework. He tries to be funny, but ends up insulting his students. Call him on it if he does because that's NOT okay. The good: easy lectures and NO BOOKS! (just small readings). The bad: he has a strange sense of humor and is extremely picky.

Although he was mostly easy he waisted time insulting students and embaressing them. He tended to single some students out which waisted time and was unperfessional. He was also really anal about things that didn't matter. I wouldn't really reccomend him.

Mr. Lang is a good guy that likes to make corny jokes that everyone can enjoy. he also rewards extra credits for students who make jokes. the writing assignments are fun and interesting. over all a fun english class.
