For history he reads his notes that he prints off the website, i just wish i knew that sooner or he gave us a packet.For theory he has trouble teaching more than the one way that he understands it but all in all he is a good man who is always around to help you. I love his recitals every semester. :)

Mr. Sano rocked. He was one of the few professors in the Music department who talked to the students as if they were adults and serious musicians, and one of the few who actually loved music! He played "Joanne" one day when I came to class after I told him I liked Nez. Awesome guy, awesome professor!

he curves every test by at least 30 points b/c he can't teach well enough for ppl to do well on them. then he suddenly decides to be tough on grading the final paper of the semester. He thinks he's an english teacher or something.

teachers like Anthony Sano are the reason i study music. his quick wit, tough-but-fair attitude, and brotherly rapport with aspiring musicians are nothing short of what i would expect from a fellow italian. ROBUSTO!

He teaches Theory & aural skills 3 and 4, and music lit. I had him for music lit and theory. I loved him as a teacher. very tough, but it forces you to learn. He is increadably smart. My fav. teacher.
