Dr. Wus English isnt great but that doesnt stop him from being a great teacher. Hes very good at what he does but he is also understanding and humble. Hes not afraid to call anyone out and will say exactly what he is thinking. Be prepared to sing in front of everyone without feeling self conscious because youll be doing this a lot.

So Aural Skills is probably the hardest thing I've ever taken- but its made me a better musician. Dr Wu is a crazy tough grader, but only because he expects the best from his students. He honestly cares about his students and will give you everything you need to succeed. Best teacher in this school.

Dr. Wu is probably one of the most helpful constructive people you will encounter in the Music Department. He comes off as harsh sometimes, mostly because English is his second language, but he's a really nice extremely caring teacher. If you come to his office, he will help you with whatever you need help with.

I am a voice major, so as Dr. Wu is the head of the voice department in our lovely music department I spend a lot of time around him. I have him for Performance and Chorus and will next semester as well and love his criticisms and just hanging out with him. He is amazing and I really even don't know why some students don't like him.

I have had Dr. Wu for Aural Skills, Choir, and Performance. The thing about Dr. Wu is that he is tough on you but it is only to bring out the best on you. The thing with Dr. Wu is, if you suck he will tell you in front of the entire class. Overall once you get to know him though you realize that he is one of the sweetest profs you will meet.

Dr. Wu is an extremely intellegent man who knows what he is talking about.Hes brutally honest but its usually deserved.The best semester to get to know him well is the 3rd because the first year hes hardcore so that he can "weed out" the people who are just wasting his time and the 4th hes emotionally prepping for the people who are leaving.

Dr. wu is an okay teacher but he doesnt speak very good english, the things he says come out totally wrong and sometimes offensive if you're not a decent singer, avoid him he will kill all of ur hopes and dreams about singing

He is difficult, but he is a lot of fun if and when he relaxes. Know your part or it will be the death of you. He has great taste in Music, especially for VCE. He is a good person though.
