Comment:
Absolutely awful. I've never hated a class so much. She gives super hard tests and lab quizzes that you'll only get a decent grade on if you dedicate dozens of hours of your time to it. Absolutely awful. If you can get another teacher please do yourself that one favor. One test, everyone failed and she didn't bat an eye or curve.

Comment:
Tests are hard, she writes them on how she thinks she is "challenging" you to be better, but they end up just being on concepts or branches on what you learn in the course. She is monotone during her lectures, and makes it hard to listen to most days. LabPracticals seem straightforward, but they are rarely on just what's in lab, but is from worksheets

Comment:
She claims lab practicals are only tested on the boldest words but that hasn't been true for multiple tests. Her exams have been rough, even when you spend all of your time studying. She pulls some questions out of thin air. Does give extra credit but is stingy on the ex cred point value.

Tracey's lab quizzes are hard. Make sure you take good notes during lab and pay attention to detail with everything you look at in lab. Lecture tests are difficult too so make sure you take good notes and start studying early. Reading the textbook is very helpful especially to see figures used in class a second time.

Mostly based on quizzes/tests. If you are bad at spelling, beware. If you are a bad test-taker, think again. Be prepared to study lecture notes 24/7.

Lectures are REALLY interesting. Learned so much cool sht in class. Exams are ok, but many exam questions have multiple correct answers. Lab practicals are a breeze you're ONLY examined on bolded words. Unfortunately doesn't use MOODLE. Have to read a book and write a reflection assay and another essay based on assigned journal article.

This is a very interesting course. You will have to work at it, but it is worth it. The lab quizzes are very difficult; so, study well for those. Make sure to take efficient notes off of her powerpoints and you should be golden. I recommend this prof! =)

Lab quizes are difficult and require a lot of studying. She lectures and uses powerpoints on very general topics, but her test questions are very specific. She is a very nice lady but is very busy and doesn't get assignments or tests back on time.

Going in to this I was expecting great things to come from this prof. DO NOT MISS CLASS. Her lab quizzes are hard, but not impossible. It seemed that she favored some students over others, especially those who were Bio majors, or voiced their opinions a lot.

Tracey is fun, and passionate about her work. The more you work in her class, the better it becomes. She does not make you do work that is pointless. Take more than an intro class with her. You won't regret it.

Teacher of the "boot camp" style. Lots of info presented. But does a great job at it. Makes things interesting.
