Comment:

Professor Fullwood was disorganized, had contradicting due dates and requirements depending on where you looked, almost never responded to any emails, and you get absolutely no grades on assignments before finals so you don't know what you are doing wrong. I hope I never have to take her classes again. I had to teach myself. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Comment:

She is very sweet and seems to know the material well. However, she is a terrible professor though. She takes forever to respond to emails, her instructions/syllabus are very unclear and very poorly formatted, she has multiple documents with instructions for the same thing, all with differing specifications. Overall, she is just a poor professor.

Although I did well in this course, it was extremely difficult to get clarification on assignments. Exams were okay, reviews were always given, if you go to the online lectures, it would be difficult to fail.

Professor Fullwood's class was a challenge, however if you attend her online lectures and do her assignments, you'll receive an A. It's true she doesn't grade until the finals week but they are easy A's. If you have questions or don't understand anything, attend her lectures!! She'll clear it up for you!

She was not very organized and could not answer a question clearly. She didn't grade homework until the last week of the semester so you could not know your actual grade throughout the semester. She did not respond to anything in a timely manner. You are better off teaching yourself because this class is not offered online.

Most of our work wasn't graded until finals week so you didn't know what your grade was. She doesn't accept late work even though she didn't grade it until the last week. Disorganized and unclear. She doesn't respond in a timely manner. You will show up to class and she will at that moment decide to cancel it. Not an effective teacher.

Dr. Fullwood is very knowledgeable; however, she is not good at teaching it. Very scatter brained, very confusing, and gets information mixed up very easily which makes her more difficult to understand. Although I think I can pull an A in her class, it was a very much self-study course that could be taught online with the lack of her teaching.

Comment:

Virginia Fullwood seems to take her class very seriously. I'm sure in the private sector she was a great accounting who really knew there stuff. However, she struggles tremendously at teaching and explaining concepts in class. For this reason many students struggle. Her tests are very hard for ACT 321. I strongly advise against this professor.

This professor knows her accounting, but she does not understand how to be a professor. All semester, not one single grade posted. First, each section was suppose to be graded. Seemed as if the professor became lazy and changed it up to at the end would be one lump sum grade I did everything asked, but it's the having no grades thing sucks.

Professor Fullwood is very knowledgeable in her field of Accounting. With that said, she does not keep up with grading, and emails are returned monthly as a class email addressing global issues. This is a tough online class, and it is very important to work well with your group members.

Fullwood is one of the best professors I have ever had. She knows so much about accounting and you can learn so much from her. I was sick at the beginning of the semester and she was very understanding. But of course you have to work hard too! Other students just want to pass and not learn anything. I will be taking her again soon!

Fullwood is probably a very good accountant. Not a good teacher. Her approach is very clinical and detached. She doesn't seem able to keep up with grading or feedback as many others have noted about this teacher. Her methods are outdated. Don't take this teacher if you can help it.

Fullwood knows her accounting...I'll give her that much. But she does not grade assignments in a timely manner. The week before finals we had no idea what we made on the previous two exams or any homework grades. She holds class lives which are helpful but not knowing your grade for the whole semester is so irritating. Take her at your own risk.

Work really hard and work all the extra problems you can and you will probably learn a lot and do very well. Unfortunately there are way too many people who really don't want to put any serious effort into this course and deserve to fail.
