Spent most of the class time griping about the book which he had inherited from the previous course in the Analysis sequence. Introduced key concepts as "obvious".

Class was so ridiculous. First exam was easy then the rest were crap. The homework is optional on WebAssign and you can take that over the in-class quizzes (DO IT). I went in for extra help and came out wanting to cry. Completely blew up my self-esteem. Be ready to teach yourself.

NOT a very good teacher. He constantly gets annoyed with the class and always seems reluctant to answer questions. His tests are however fairly easy and he did seem to curve the grades up significantly in the end.

has a nasty demeanor, very rude and impatient, his writing is small so sit in the fromt row, also he was always late to class by five minutes or more and usually ran over time so don't schedule another class right after this one, i didn't learn much from him and he doesn't have much for office hours, his office hours are a half hour per week,

Comment:

Wally is obviously very smart, but he does not know how to teach or relate to people. He can be pretty mean at times. He assigns way too much homework, and flies through material without really explaining it. On the plus side, he does grade pretty easily and his exams are similar to the practice exams. Overall, I would say avoid Wally if you can.

Wally is one of the few math teachers I've had that I dislike. His tests have nothing to do with the material learned in class. He is unapproachable and essentially laughs if you ask a question. His handwriting is horrible, and he doesn't actually teach, he just talks. If you want to take this class, wait for a new teacher or just take math 210.

Terrible teacher. I can't sit through his class. It's terrible. Easy grader on tests, if you can sit through classes to find out when they are. I couldn't.

He is not a very good teacher, cares about covering as much as possible, not about understanding what he is saying. His writing is not legible and it is hard to understand what he says, and he lacks good communication skills. VERY easy grader on tests however, which makes up for it

Very unclear with course guidelines. Cared more about covering material than whether we were learning. Unapproachable and didn't have good communication skills.
