Some assignments were a bit confusing, things were all over the place but as long as you do every assignment and put some effort in you should be fine.

This class was not what I was expecting. So much reading and writing. The material is really not interesting as Id expected, lots of long research papers to read and long text chapters about the intricacies of crit thinking. That said, if you do the reading and follow instructions to the letter a good grade is possible. Dont procrastinate

Great professor. Hes like your dads friend who tells interesting anecdotal stories that actually build upon the lesson. Hes got a good, albeit dry sense of humor and a clear presence of experience and authority. Excellent class overall.

When I started his class, I thought that it was going to be extremely difficult, but he really does offer students a way to bring up their grade, which is amazing considering that most professors don't. I would strongly recommend doing a presubmission if you are unsure with your paper. Also he didn't apply exams. Very straight-forward teacher.

This is probably the worst online course i have ever taken. Maybe he's different in person. But i would strongly recommend not taking him for online. He does not clarify any assignments or answer emails and as someone else said hes just rude.. I actually laugh at how pathetic his course is. 10/10 would not recommend taking . complete joke professor

His syllabus is very clear about grading and he offers an option to presubmit any assignment meaning you turn it in, he grades it and hands it back to you. You correct any mistakes and turn it in, my grade went from a 77 to a 100. My advice is DO THE PRESUBMIT We had 3 major assessments and a few other minor homework assignments for the semester.

Completely disrespectful to his students and when he gives feed back he's just rude. I took his course online and it's been a battle. I asked for clarification for a major assignment, never got it. When I had to have the Dean speak to him after sending several emails he played it off like it was my fault. Doesn't respond to emails like he says.

This professor is very straightforward. Although, I was nervous to take this class I ended up taking a liking to this class. You will learn a lot regarding CT and it's helped me with a lot of my other courses. Show up for class, do the assignments and you'll pass! I would consider taking another course with this professor he's very straightforward!

The professor was very insightful on a lot of things that were very useful to my post graduated career. Very chill professor unless you get on his nerves by coming late to class or using your phones in class. Aside from that do all the work you should be able to pass with a good grade.

What a windbag. He doesn't really teach a class so much as he does brag about how intelligent he is for 3 hours. He didn't explain anything about management other than just reading out of the book. He seems incapable of answering simple questions about the assignments that he gives. Some people definitely should not be teachers.

I was diagnosed with cancer while taking CT100 with Professor Goldman. I let him know about my situation and he was very willing to work with me and my limitations to make it so that I wouldn't have to drop the class.

Prof. Goldman is one of the better professors I think. -Emphasis on the tags I selected.- Moves quickly in the beginning but there's a lot of ground he covers. Once we got ahead he dialed the pace back a bit the class was more lively and less structured. That being said the workload is incredibly small. I learned a good bit from the class too.

He seemed more interested in bragging about himself than in teaching a class. He grades based on his own bias. I took the class with my girlfriend. We were in the same group for the project, and I scored higher on every graded assignment than her. I got a B- somehow when she got an A. He gave absolutely no instructions on writing a business plan.

Took critical thinking with Prof Goldman last fall. Lectures were fun, and very helpful in learning how to think critically. About 90% of the final grade is based on three assignments, all of which can be submitted early for a pre-grade, so you can find out exactly what you need to change. If you can't handle fair criticism, don't take this class.

Lecture heavy class. Not a lot of homework, mainly reading. Gives good feedback. Tries to tie the readings to what is going on in the world. Very intelligent teacher. You'll succeed if you participate and ask questions along the way. Trying effort helps the grade.

Extremely intelligent CT teacher, taught me how to think critically & logically. Can come off as gruff, but wants you to know he's not messing around. 3 major, straightforward assignments that you could presubmit for his feedback very helpful. If you're willing to put in the work, you'll succeed & learn about the real world in the process.

There were regular week Homeworks. It got harder and harder and a lot of reading and words analysis. It was tough but helped me improve my critical thinking towards tv reports or newspapers. If you want to learn and remember it all your life like me, take this class. Give him 2-3 days to reply to your emails but he will guide you if needed.

His class is mainly him talking. Not a lot of homework at all (maybe 3 assignments the entire semester). Just show up and listen. Can participate but it is not necessary. Very little group work.
