She's a real good teacher. She instructs out the book, preparing you for the test. All coursework is done online on Blackboard. She teaches on a collegiate level. She doesn't give you answers however she will guide you in the way to go. I would take her over again if I needed to.

The class is 100% self-driven. My only real complaint is that she had the due dates clearly outlined in the syllabus, but then opened all the exercises up for people who didn't do their work through the semester. Wasn't sure why we had the due dates if you could do the whole semesters work in the last week.....

I had her for ONLINE Microsoft Apps I. She responds to email in a reasonable time. The syllabus provided was complete in it's entirety with everything I needed to know about the class. The assignments aren't difficult. The course is structed very well, just follow the structure. It's not hard.

I was nervous about taking this class due to other comments. I must say, Professor Brown is very structured and by the book.However,she can alsobe flexible and understanding as long as you are trying andit shows. I almost failed this class due to family issues. She worked with me and i passed. She is a great professor in my book.

I am not one to go to these sights ,but I do fell people should know before taking this class. Ms. Brown hardly exist and if you ask questions, you may feel you are burdening her. Some people need more help then others, and her job as a teacher is to make sure that happens. If she has to much going on, maybe she should not take on so many classes.

Ms. Brown is a dedicated instructor however, she lacked in providing curriculum directions with changes on SAM2010. Changing the format of the SAM2010 process towards the middle of the semester is a bit unfair. This will be my last class I will be selecting with Ms. Brown!

Had her for Intro to Databases....Ms. Brown is the definiton of a teacher!!!! You cant just think you are going to get by with doing little work.Make sure you send emails within 24 hours of contacting her. Take notes, and pay attention!!!! other than that you shouldnt have any problems in her class.!!!!!Love ya Ms.Brown!

Comment:

Had her online for computer concepts. She was not helpful at all. It was interesting reading comments, because the "chip on the shoulder", "attitude" type of comments from people who had her in class are true. It is so bad that it even comes across online. Absolutely no help at all, but the course is not hard.

This professor was not at all helpful, and completely useless. She acts like she has a huge chip on her shoulder, and takes it out on all of her students. She needs to get a grip and start helping her students instead of treating them like they're 4 years old. If you have the choice of ANY other instructor, take them.
