Dr. Clabaugh is knowledgeable and definitely one of the best professors I've had in my academic career. I feel like I learned a lot in his class and am more prepared for the teaching profession having taken it.

Dr, Clabaugh is the best professor in education program. Class is discussion heavy and always interesting. Tests were directly from the book..no surprises. Interesting man interested in what he is teaching. Challenges people's opinions so be prepared to defend your position.

Ok so my Granfather died and when I cam back after e-mailing him and the school he made me take a test on the material from that week!? He is just an aweful teacher who does not do the La Salle Ed. Dept. Justice. If I remember correctly dont we even use the text that he wrote?

Okay, so I wonder who some of these other rateres were really taking, because Clabaugh is a total moron!!! I have never had a teacher who focuses so little on course material and so much on his personal politics. I took him for both 306 and 218...in neither one did I learn very much, and I am generally a star student!

I just heard that he recently made a girl cry in his office; he then made her leave and told her to come back when she grew up! However, he's a very smart man and a great teacher. If your lazy, don't bother taking this class.

This is the most enjoyable class I have had at LaSalle, and yet its the worst that I did in any of them. Dr. Clabaugh really knows his stuff, is passionate about it, and does throw out questions from the tests periodically. However, I still can't figure out how he marks. I would take him again, gladly, grades be damned!

Very smart knowledgeable man in educational issues. Is very hard. You will have to work your ass off on papers. Test arent too hard. You have to study. If your looking for easy A, dont take. Pretty hard to avvoid though if ur an ED major..I thought he was great though..Good man

His classes can be very challenging, but interesting and insightful as well. He is a smart man, and has a meaningful way to explain everything that he brings to class. IF you are looking for an easy out do not take his classes, but if you are looking for a interesting and professor class do.

He is a horrible teacher who has no compassion for his students, and is not willing to help students in need. He is not understanding, and if you miss his class at all you are screwed. He also throws tons of pop quizes at you.

hes not only a great guy but a great teacher- he knows his stuff- hes even put together the text. he helps you see the world in a different light and basically helps you think for yourself. i would take his class again.

I loved Dr. Clabaugh's class. He doesn't just sit and lecture you from the books, but really puts everything into a practical perspective. He tells you exactly how things are and doesn't feed you any crap. He is extremely helpful if you ask him.
