Take her if you can! Very helpful teacher! You get to miss up to 6 classes and usually only have 3 papers in portfolio at the end. I say this because I took her for 101 and 102 also. GREAT TEACHER!

She posts everything on Webct that will be due/covered so if you miss a class it's easy to catch up. She has a good sense of humor. The first couple weeks we used the book. Share argument book with some1 b/c you only use it for referencing. If your first paper is bad you can redo it and turn it in at the end of quarter.Overall She is really helpful

She was an amazing professor and very helpful. Attendance is very necessary for getting information to write the papers. she was very approachable and very nice. The paper topics were challenging but she was always there if you needed help. I would recommend her to anyone, I really enjoyed her class.

Awesome teacher! all you do is 2 five pg papers (not as hard as it may sound), handful of easy homeworks, extra credit quizes. allowed 6 absences. really helpful, easy class!

This class was easy. If you attend class and pay attention, you should do pretty good. There was only 2 big research papers to write and she did give extra credit quizzes. She wasn't a harsh grader either. I recommend her even though we did do a few homework assignments she wasn't bad at all!

AMAZING PERSON, AMAZING TEACHER!!! FAVORITE CLASS AT WSU - English was extremely boring until Amanda taught it. Very helpful, and willing to do ANYTHING to help. Makes you feel like a great writer b/c she helps you achieve a lot. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

The class was REALLY easy. But I must warn you, there's a lot of busy work. But we got out early almost everyday in the class (T/TH class) Only two papers, you get out two weeks for conferences. Easy A as long as you go to class.

this class was the biggest waste of time. If you want an easy A, go for it! mandatory attendance for a class like this is retarded! I didn't learn anything!!! I really hated having fellow classmates reading and commenting on my papers- that is supposed to be the teacher's job, not the students'
