she is a really fast paced teacher, but knows the information and teaches it really well. i suggest everyone to take her. she uses the book every class, and only gives quizzes to keep information fresh in your brain. easy to get in touch with outside class and always has office hours. super easy if you come class to everyday and pay attention.

This class is freaking hard & a real challenge. She's so knowledgeable that she "tells" instead of "teaches". If you want a good grade you HAVE to spend time outside of class because the whole class will be lost quickly. She did extra study sessions and extra credit which was really generous. Class average on the tests are 68% with a curve... Annoying the entire semester but I ended with a B, well deserved & a lot of hours put forth. Good luck!

Comment:

Henderson is nice, funny, and professional at the same time. Great at teaching and gives a lot of extra credit. Pay attention is class and go to review classes. Yes the class is hard but it isn't her fault, ANY accounting 201 class will be a little difficult for a new comer - i recommend her if you are willing to study and really want to learn.

She is a great teacher but her tests are kind of hard. You have to go to class and do the study guides. The review sessions she has are very helpful. She's also really funny. I recommend her.

Dr. Henderson is BEST professor for Accounting. I absolutely love this lady. She is very helpful and she makes Accounting so easy that a newborn could pass this class. I really learned a lot from her. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!! As Drake says, she is the EFFIN BEST!!!!!!!!

alot of homework but it is easy stuff on homework manager. as long as you do all the homework and pay attention in class the tests arent that hard. shes very nice and helpful whenever you need it. does give a few extra credit opportunities.

Sweet, friendly. Assignments are relevant to the real world (ie, the ARMS reports). Wish she would spend more time explaining concepts and less doing strictly problems. Also, I don't like how she asks students to read problems outloud. We aren't in 1st grade. Very generous in terms of grades; with the makeups, if you can't pass, switch majors.

lots of work, (homework and classwork) but its mainly just busy work and it really helps you learn accounting hands on instead of just through lectures. shes flexible on homework and she will usually give more time if u ask, easy tests if you prepare enough, extra credit every so often, and shes a nice lady and class isint too boring

Nice prof but she moves REALLY fast. Make sure you keep up with the online homework because it's easy to forget about but she always extends it an extra day if you need her to. Would reccomend because there are HORROR stories about some of the other accounting prof.

Going to class is mandatory and even if you do that you will probably not pass. Her teaching style is at an extreme pace that is nearly impossible to keep up with. She tries to be funny and in general has a pompous attitude and is not going to make an effort to be available for help.

MUST DO chapter objectives that she provides, do the problems over that she does in class, study both and you will get a B. She gives some extra credit.
