This class was enjoyable. Professor Tenga is excited about the topic and will talk with you forever about a topic. Class format was fair and made it easy to bounce back from a poor test/project/whatever. Just expect to read for several hours a week every now and then.

Comment:

Tenga's class is interesting. She's a fun lecturer and extremely nice. Her grading is very fair. She'll give you the benefit of the doubt but don't expect an A just because she's nice. Multiple choice portions of exams are specific and hard. Available for help or just to talk about the subject. Class was fun.

KNows a lot about the material covered but has a voice that will put you to sleep. I have never gotten a C or a D in my life before I took her class. Test material does not match in class notes.

Half of her tests and all of her quizzes are based upon obscure facts from the large amounts of dry readings she assigns. She is a nice lady but her tests and quizzes are excessivly difficult and based on readings that even a business major wouldnt have time to complete

Comment:

Boring class, I struggle to stay awake with the very dry material not made at all interesting. Difficult too, struggling to earn a B and I'm usually an A student. Tests are hard to prepare for and without the term paper this was already by far my hardest class. As it is a required class, good luck those of you that already dislike history.

Most awesome teacher ever! She was sooo helpful and enthusiastic. Willing to accomodate students ideas and her guidance in this course makes it an easy 'A'. Just don't mess up the final project like me or u'll drop from 'A'/'B' to about a 'C'.

for a class that no one wants to take, she is good about making it OK. she is very friendly and helpful. there are a few projects, which are annoying to do. otherwise the class is fine. grading could be easier, but oh well

Great teacher. Tenga is unparalleled in her speaking ability and her style of teaching makes the lectures relaxed and not something you dread going to. She appears to be very understanding of students and willing to work with you if you have any trouble with the class.

I head this class was time-consuming, but it wasn't with her. She seems moody sometimes, but you can get a good grade with her pretty easily as long as you stay on her good side and don't try to correct her.
