Comment:

She is very set in her opinions and will not listen to what you have to say, especially if she disagrees. The first 3 weeks of class we talked about Cinderella (TOTALLY UNRELATED TO OUR CLASS) which got us extremely far behind. She also spent an entire class period shoving voting down our throats... an hour and a half... SHES HORRIBLE

Has her views and it is extremely hard to change them. forget having your own opinions because according to her they are wrong. write your papers from her perspective and you will do fine. changes assignment due dates and criteria a ton. not a hard class but she is very intolerant which makes class not fun to go to

Apryl is one of the best English professors I have had. She is energetic, outgoing and really brings life to her classes. I would take her again in a second.

Comment:

Apryl is an excellent professor. She has a fun personality and is very caring about her students She is knowledgeable in all things related to women's studies. This class was centered around the class discussion. If you take this class, be prepared to write-- and write well as Apryl is also an English teacher and tough grader on the mechanics!

does not have the assignments put together, very flakey when it comes to due dates and what you work on. Her feminism rubric and style seem to be the only thing she can teach.

Apryl is REALLY nice, energentic, and encouraging. But you don't have to try hard. Most of us in Brit Lit. II would read the poems in class right before, and she just wanted to "see you try".

What an amazing teacher! I never learned so much from someone. She almost made me change my major from math education to English literature. I took three different classes from her because of how much I learned!

I had her for several classes in English and Women's Studies, and she was one of the most wonderful professors I ever had in my experience at college. Very enthusiastic. You have to work for her--but isn't that what you are supposed to do in college?
