Dr. Catlett made a research methods class exciting and engaging which is a feat in itself! She offers great feedback on every assignment, checks in with her students on how beneficial readings are, and invites guest speakers that enhance the course. Even with her VERY busy schedule she is easy to meet even for a "mini meeting." Absolutely take her!

Catlett brings such an energy and enthusiasm to a subject that would otherwise be completely depressing. She also was able to "handle" classroom discussions, unlike other DePaul profs who let students rant on for 3 hours straight-- she kept us on topic. I think some people could be turned off by her emphasis on using DePaul Archives, but eh. A+

She's SO awesome. SO understanding. SO passionate. Take her immediately! This class will change your life. She's so funny, class is so much fun and she really wants you to understand all the material. Dr. Catlett is very nice. She is willing to help you with anything. The class in general is okay. There are no tests, just several papers. The class is very liberal, so you conservatives beware. Not hard to get an A, just be able to think critically.

This class was great. She really taught the subject matter in an organized fashion. Very intelligent professor! Didn't like the class too much, too many homo-sexuals, but the teacher was AWESOME! This is also coming from a guy POV, not a femanine one. A++

BETH IS THE BEST!!!! She is the most enthusiastic, passionate, and amazing professor at DePaul. I've taken several classes with her and I can attest to her incredible intelligence as well as her contagious energy. Her classes are easy if you're smart.
