I have taken MATH 153 and MATH 181 with Prof. Bunyard. He does move quickly through material in lectures but he will stop and explain if a question is asked. He usually lets students turn in drafts of projects and will provide feedback (THE BEST!) and he gives mid-unit reviews as written homework instead of one or two problems per section.

Amazing professor but moves through material at lightning speed. He's already on the next problem before I decide what I have to do for the first one. I would still 100% recommend, especially since he is always willing to make time for his students outside of class if they need help with project drafts, homework, or exam clarification.

Great teacher but TONS of busy work. I am the type that understands something after doing it once. My opinion on college is that the grade should come from Exams and that's it. The busy work from this class killed me, class work, online HW, book HW, online Quiz for every class. But if your the kind that needs practice, he is an Awesome teacher

He is a good professor, whom I have had three times since I've enrolled in HCC. Excellent professor, very clear. He also helps you on classwork assignements. Don't expect a cake ride if you come to his class though. He isn't something you can just attend every once in awhile (its MATH)

Mr. Bunyard is a wonderful teacher. The best I've ever had hands down, if you really want to do well in math. Take his class...he cares and can really teach. I took this class the first time and failed, I enrolled in his and I have an A currently. If your not doing well in his class, then its just lack of effort. HCC is lucky to have him!

I definitely have a math phobia, especially when it comes to word problems. He explained things so that I could understand them. I never felt stupid in his class. I still don’t like math and still have to take 070 & 138 but I feel like I just might be able to do it now.

He was a great teacher. Reminds me of a football coach, because of his interest in football. He was helpful when you have questions. Hw is moderate, but not too much. Probably would have only two questions and thats it! Good test review sheet. :) and hes cool..

He taught the class ok, but it was often difficult to tell how he wanted things done on the test..made for unusuallly low scores for me. Didn't really like how he set up the homework. Decent professor, but if I were going to take him again I would do all the problems in the book and not just the few he assigns.

seems like a lot of ppl like him, so dats y I decided to take him for business calc; however, he keeps yappin on about each lecture thinkin all students are "steller" at math. I won't recommend him unless you're great at teachin yourself math that had nuttin to do with the lecture in the previous class.

Had Guy for a couple classes. As a non traditional student, Guy didn't forget my name, nor his ability to teach. Great Teacher. Probably one of the best math teachers at HCC (with a personality)-got to do your work to get his respect. Highly recommended!
