Love Dr. Whitmire! I have had him for Math 170 and 270. I am super bummed I do not have for 370 as well. He is very helpful and explains material well. You can use your notes on the test which helps a ton.

Best math teacher I've ever had! Took him for MATH 111 and had so much fun really great guy funny and interesting allows you to use notes on test BUT gives pretty hard test questions so your notes work merely as a template for how to set up problems still have to learn the material! Would take every math class with him if possible!

I took him Fall 2010 for business calculus. I dont know what the number of the class was. His class is simple. You get to use all your notes on his test. You can't use the book on the test though. He explains everything great. I got a C+ but calc is hard to me and I missed a lot of classes. Def take him over any other teacher.
