He's been my professor for both my Psych1 and Life Span. A wonderful Professor. Guides you well. Keeps in contact. Helps you the most. I think he wil be retiring soon. Cannot forget to say he Was very helpful during the IKE situation. Nothing can be greater than that. Its amazing how he held an online class for so many years. Thankyou Professor. H

Follow his study guide and you can make an A. I highly recommend this class - took it online and made an A - just did exactly as he said to do. Great teacher. Lots of notes to help with the tests. Take the class before he retires in fall2009.

GREAT professor. Keeps in close contact with students. Do all the work required and the online textbook quizzes (he gives you the link) and you will do extremely well. He makes it VERY clear from the beginning what he expects and if you're willing to do the work, you will do very well and actually LEARN something

Comment:

Doc is a great professor. All he does is online courses so his blackboard class is well set up. He seems very nice and is so helpful. He answers emails almost instantly. If you take the quizzes on the textbook website you will pass the tests easily. He does ask for a lot of participation but it only helps you get those extra points for an A.

Took Dr Hall; DL for an 8-week course. Excellent teacher. :) His course is an easy A, if you do your work. I made a B+, just by two pts I would of had an A. Test are not hard. Study your self-test on the H&H websites for every chapter and you'll pass. Also, he has a lot of participating pts you can earn to get boost ur grade up.

DON'T take his online class unless you have loads of time! Besides the normal tests and quizzes, he gives a TON of superfluous work that's not even related to the course material, like posting on the forum several times a week. Tell him you're busy, and he'll be very condescending! He's nice otherwise, but it's not a class for busy people at all.

Doc Hall is a great instructor. You do need to communicate with him if you have soomething you don't understand (daa) and he makes it easy to do that. He doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions. If you screw up he won't jump on you either. He is calm, cool, and collected. Take him.

Doc is a wonderful teacher. He takes the online class to a different world. This class is extremely easy if you do everything asked. He is helpful, and responds to e-mails faster than any teacher. He has a genuine interest in the student and does anything to help. Truly a joy to take this class, and a pretty easy A.

This instructor has a high level of energy or owns a Blackberry since he responds to all e-mails in a matter of minutes or so it seems. He really is a great teacher. You do have to do the work. He expects us to actually work and earn the grade we get. His Internet class is very well organized & after exploring it like he tells us to do, it is easy.

Took him for Intro to Psyc online and came out with an A. I'd have to say that everything seemed overwhelming at the beginning, but it gets better as the semester progresses. He is extremely clear with instructions and helpful as well. I highly recommend Doc Hall to anyone who is willing to learn, and have fun at the same time!!

This guy knows how to teach an Internet class. His #1 priority seems to focus on students. Do expects us to do the work and if you follow his Blackboard instructions, which are not hard if you can read, then you will do well. I expect to earn an "A" in the class. It seems like a lot at first, but after the first week, things settle down. Take him.

Excellent! Took him through DL and he was great. Responds to emails quickly. Very helpful and friendly. Exams and quizes are exact questions from textbooks website. Discussion board required weekly, but it's an easy grade. He posts surveys, which you have to log into BB to know when they're posted, and you only have two days to answer.

If you are looking for an online course - general psychology with doc hall is the one. He knows his stuff and he works with students. His tests are not that hard at all if you do any of the stuff he suggests. I did about 1/2 of what he said and did well. Easy A - I thought. Send him e-mails. Talk to him.

This is a great course and the Doc is a super instructor in that the course is clearly laid out online. The tests are not hard. You get to take quizzes - have a bunch of other things you can do if you need to. I just read the book (ok, skimmed) and took the tests. He answers e-mails the same day. Take him - he is one Internet instructor who helps.

I took Doc Hall for Psyc 1 online. He is a very nice man, and he does care about his students, but I found the tests to be extremely difficult. The assignments at the beginning of the course are easy but there are three twenty question quizzes and one 40-60 question test due every month or so. They are hard questions. You must log in 2-3 times week
