Failure rates for his class is high because there are too many people that do not do the work. Homework INTENSIVE course and he gives daily quizzes to enforce material covered. As long as you show up, pay attention, and take good notes, you should pass with a solid B. I did.

I would not recomend this professor. He teaches from the examples out of the book, which look nothing like the homework. He roguishly makes fun of his students and in no way helps them. You're counted absent if you're 5mins late, but shows up late himself and jokes about it. He was ok as a person, but as a teacher, his ability to teach is horrible!

Seems like a very nice person. He's always late for class and then doesn't let us get out on time. He teaches straight out of the book which isn't helpful at all as he doesn't elaborate. The tests are atrocious and unnecessarily difficult. I don't recommend this professor at all.

This is a difficult subject but Dr. Coleman takes first 1/4 of class to answer homework questions, explains current chapters, and gives examples for that day's homework. He is available to help after class and is constantly asking if anyone has questions. He also gives the quizzes to bring up your grade so he is more than fair.

This class totally killed me. I've never made less than an A in any math class and I had to drop this. Dr. Bob is a super nice guy, but he goes so fast. He reads straight from the book and doesn't really do anything extra. I hope everyone has does better than I did.

Really nice guy, and yes, lots of corny jokes. I always rewrite all of my notes at home with the textbook because his lectures are not as clear as I need them to be. His tests are hard but they are based off the homework. You MUST do your homework. Do your homework and ASK QUESTIONS. He is always very helpful when you come to him privately.

Coleman is a very good person, but a horible teacher. He doesnta care at all about your grades and wont let you try to make up anything. This is my first class i have ever failed in my whole life.
