Comment:

Dr. Keliher was a great lecturer and had interesting stories to make class more interesting. He is also eager to help with assignments (even after the due date) and is very lenient with accepting late work. His assignments and tests/midterms are challenging but doable. His biggest flaw is that he is disorganized and often falls behind in lectures.

Terrific professor. Dr. Keliher is extremely knowledgeable, and it is evident in his lectures that he cares about his teaching. He is very incisive and chooses his words to explain concepts carefully. Take the exact notes that he provides, review them regularly or at least leading up to exams, and not only will you do well, you will learn lots.

Comment:

The star of the computer science department. Extremely helpful, clear, and interesting. Assignments, labs, and exams are not easy but grades and deadlines are fair with good feedback provided. He seems to genuinely care about students, is approachable, and easily accessible outside of class.

Keliher is so passionate about his teaching that it's impossible not to like him. Visit him during office hours if you need help and he is so excited to help. Look over your work in class and it isn't difficult, whether you have high school experience or not.

Dr Keliher gives interesting lectures, assignments and labs. The exams are really hard - I'm not too sure about the text either, it's hard to work through since it doesn't follow the lectures well. Overall he's great.

Definitely the best teacher I've had in the CS department. Knows an incredible amount about his topics. Very clear and quite demanding of his students but also fair when it comes to assessments. ABYSMAL at getting marks back in time. His exam was on Dec 12 last year but we didn't have marks for the class until Jan 10ish.
