I really didn't pay attention until about halfway through the semester and that was absolutely detrimental. Failed every single test. BUT, I met with him outside of class and he specially arranged office hours for me, walked me through all of calculus again from square one, and really made sure I understood it. Let me retake my tests. Great man.

Calculus is horrible if you don't understand it, theres no getting around it. Dr. Foreman grades a ton on your effort, if you try really hard, do all the WebAssign, and go to his office, you'll easily pass with a B. I really loved him!

Its calculus, no matter who teaches it, it will be hard if you aren't interested. He makes every effort to get people interested in the material(such as looking up real data during class to use for an example), but yes the class is hard. Regular homework, 4 exams. Will help you if you ask for it. You can bring a 2-sided sheet of notes to any exam.

I love him as a professor overall. He is really nice and willing to help you if you put in the effort. He gets really excited when he teaches so his hand writing on the board is not the neatest. However, he cares about all his students and is fair which really is all I want in a teacher.

Dr Foreman is SUPER nice and really funny, but his class is just plain weird. The homework does not correlate with what you learn in class so just plan on teaching yourself. The tests are really easy though and you get to use a piece of paper.

Overall great teacher! he really wants the best for his students & wants them to do well He is a little odd but he makes jokes about the society & the fact that he is a Jew There is 3-4 tests & a final You get to use a paper with notes on it for test and you have homework every week. You have to teach yourself the material. But it isnt too hard.

An interesting professor, to say the least, a little odd. Very good at explaining some things, but then is very confusing when teaching other things. Some of his assignments were flat out bizarre. His tests were challenging and he graded homework harshly, if he graded it at all.

Foreman understands at Foreman's level and therefore teaches at that level. The pace is VERY rapid and if you miss something you're in trouble. Obviously very smart but can only teach Stats at his level and doesn't recognize we're not all PhD Math people. Tough grader on homework tests. Personally, not a huge fan.

passionate about subject and about helping to create quality teachers. He is nice man who is always willing to help out his students. He is also the department chair, so it's not a bad idea to get to know him. This class could have been way harder, but he was very clear about the material and his expectations. Don't freak out about the homework.

This class is so easy. He explains everything clearly and if you come to class you're fine. His tests are cake, though he may try to trick you occasionally. He's a really nice guy, I don't think he's arrogant. He is very patient with people who don't understand. Take this class. I highly recommend for an easy A!

I liked him for FYS. A lot of the discussions were insightful. The papers were small and forced me to think critically. The papers, though some would make a****ndous deal because they are called papers, took about 5-10 minutes. These small papers help me in my English Classes while keeping a light load in the class!
