Comment:
Dr. Popp's lectures often have absolutely nothing to do with chemistry, but he'll schedule quizzes to force people to show up anyway. I learned nothing in his class. Rumors say he's better at upper level classes, but DO NOT take a freshman level course from him if you can help it.

I'm sure he's a great professor for upper classes, but he's too far beyond chem121 to teach it well. Almost seemed nervous in front of the class. Hard to pay attention and didn't learn material well. He did curve though.

I didn't learn from Popp...I had to read the book. Some say he's better for higher level Chemistry courses. He's pretty funny and he's very nice! I don't think he should curve grades though.

Terrible teacher, tuff material, the lab sucked, and his lectures never cover the content of his tests. CHem sucks, and so does Popp.

As long as you go to resitation then the class is easy. Popp is the best chem prof. there is at tech.

His lectures were average but to the point, something that most chemistry profs were unable to do--except when he talked about dancing moles :) . His tests were very reasonable. Too bad he didn't teach Chem 122 when I needed him.

I hated his class. His lectures are not very organized and he jumps from one subject to another without clarifying what he is talking about. Only good thing is that no one tries hard so if you get 50's on the test then you'll probably end up with a C.
